Okay folks, first of all I would like to introduce myself. I go by Knocker, CK or handle cocknocker. It's a space movie character thing that only the trues know, a bartender of sorts.. Anyway today I am going to try an experiment and play a multitude of 1st half plays that I call the CK Secret Plays. It may or may not be successful, and it is notfor the weak of heart who look at the 1st half number and think, "Man that's way too many points for me to pass up..." I'm gonna take those outrageous 1st half spreads ALL DAY LONG. Those who are regulars here know that these plays are 18-4 ats, those who are not familiar with it, don't play it, just watch it and let's see how many of these things we can get in one day. There are a few borderline plays that are on the cusp of fitting the format perfectly. I encourage those playing along o wait until the very last minute to play them to insure that these criterion are met: a spread of at least -9.5 or preferrably double digits, and NO MONEYLINE or if there is a moneyline it must be -900 or bigger. I have 8 total first half plays that I will make.

-wow some trends favor Phil in this match, Home team is 23-8 ATS in the last 31 meetings,Knicks are 1-7 ATS in the last 8 meetings,Knicks are 0-7 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Philadelphia
-in 5 meetings in Philadelphia, Phil has averaged 108 points for against NY 84. A difference of 24 points.
-NY has been giving up a average of 106 points there last 5 games which lines up nicely with Phil's average total against NY
Clear indication that PHIL plays NY alot tougher at home and has the making of a potential blowout. Let's add to the fact that NY has played 2 extra games versus PHIL resting since MOnday.
Just a side note on games played in PHIL against NY, i went back over the last 5 games spanning the last few years and PHIL has not lost the 2qtr in the past 5 games out scoring them in qtr 2 by, 5,16,19,6,17.

yes, let's. i was actually going to ask you about those 9.5 and 9 point games and whether or not they would be plays if the line shifted, and i do appreciate you going on ahead and taking the initiative to read my mind and break them down.

my day will consist of sacramento, secret plays, and orlando 1st quarter, and probably new jersey first quarter, even though it's cutting it close. i'm trying to figure out a good way to systemize first quarter plays, and i'm starting by subtracting the 1st quarter winning percentages, and if i get a number of 20+ then it's an automatic play. this is a very, very rough idea, but hopefully i can fine tune it into a winning machine. new jersey and orlando would be plays. orlando gives a number of 35 and new jersey gives us a number of 22. 20 might be too low, and we may have to take point differential and other such numbers into account. we'll see, sounds pretty pedestrian at the moment. i'm not exactly a numbers genius, so if anyone's interested in throwing in their two cents, then i'm all ears.

3-over 1st half of niagara/sienna....where the over is 4-1
4-until auburn can show that they can compete in arkansas....im rolling with the razorbacks where they are 5-0su and 4-1 ats...good luck homies

Both teams like to run, Brand's return won't have much of an impact, coach Tony Dileo has said that Brand will only play for short spurts between four and five minutes when he first returns. The Sixers are dedicated to run, and Brand has not shown that he can play within a run system.

Orlando is a good road team ATS. They are 3-1 ATS and 4-0 SU the last 3 seasons in Miami. Miami doesn't have the shut down defense that Boston has so Nelson and Howard will NOT be embarrassed as they were thursday in Boston. The last 3 seasons Orlando is 7-1 ATS against Miami period. I'm liking the Magic in this spot.

Ok guys.....two plays I really like. Orlando -2 1st Qtr. over Miami. Orlando wins 65% of their 1st quarters....Miami wins 30%. Orlando got throttled by Boston the other day, they come out with the idea of putting Miami out of their misery early.

The other game I LOVE... so take that into effect...is California -7 for the 1st half. They got embarrassed the other night by a BAD BAD Oregon St. team and now they play an equally bad Oregon team. If Cal is anything at all they come out focused and drill the Ducks.

One caveat....when I LOVE a game that is usually not the best sign! But I do think this is a really solid play.
