not suprising....makes sense though considering drivers cant talk either, if spotters could it would kinda defeat the purpose

who knows what will actually be allowed by the 500, nascar just confusing all of us!

knowing nascar they may have changed that rule in the middle of the day back to they can talk

I remember Nascar putting restrictor plates on the cars at Pocono. Worst race I ever sat through. Hope all this messing around doesn't kill Daytona.

Yeah much preferred the latest style of 2 car tandem, required more from the driver compared to pack racing.

Problem with the tandem racing is forcing cars to run bumper to bumper creates it's own problems. Last years Daytona was a bit of a mess watching team-mates spin each other out every 15 laps. Not a great look IMO.

I hope he steps out of that car so Roush can put another up n comer in it instead. After Stenhouse and Bayne last year you'd hope some sponsor might stand up and not demand a cup driver and give him a chance to do it again.

    Actually forget that. Just dreaming.

    New start n park team

"Nationwide Series veteran team owner Jay Robinson will enter into his 12th year in the series and has partnered with Troy Blakeney of Houston, Texas to form Robinson-Blakeney Racing, LLC and will field a Sprint Cup Series car with Toyota as its manufacturer. The new team intends to run full time in both series this year.

"I am very excited about our new venture into the Cup series", said team owner Jay Robinson" We have all of the cars and equipment in place. We will be running engines prepared by Race Engines Plus and are hoping to hire a driver very soon."

The #28 Nationwide car will continue into the 2012 Season with a variety of drivers throughout the season. Jeff Spraker and his Spraker Racing Enterprises group has been hired to head up the Nationwide efforts.

Troy Blakeney, with offices in Houston and Fort Worth, Texas is relatively new to the sport and brings a wealth of business knowledge and experience which will certainly prove to be an asset in the venture.

Robinson-Blakeney Racing will run Toyotas from their Monroe N. C. based. The team will soon be announcing their drivers, crew chiefs and sponsorships. "

Did you see this bit about the EFI?

"After each race weekend, NASCAR will distribute information on all teams' maps"

Depending on how much info they release that could be very interesting. Should give quite an insight into team strategies and engine brand differences.

Very pathetic, but the guy probably doesn't have enough shame in him to feel embarrassed about this one.

I went looking for a funny picture about meth head + mayfield but noticed this one.

How things could have been different right now had he the balls to clean his act up and take advantage of all the misplaced support so many gave him. (including me for a while)
