Maybe the Miami Marlins knew what they were doing when...

... they let go of all of those players to the Blus Jays

    Mark Buehrle hasn't done anything
Josh Johnson couldn't get through 2 innings, yesterday vs. the Tigers
Emilio Bonafacio still doesn't have a stolen base
Jose Reyes looks like he is going on the Dl

Even though they only have 1 win, they don't have to pay all that money for the wasted talent.

Owner would have traded all the guys even if they had a winning season last year. He got his stadium built and is stuffing his bank accounts on the taxpayer's dime.

Yea tigers really hammered Johnson , still Miami is awful .their pos closer Cishek cost me 200 bucks when they couldn't close out the mets in the 9th. Gonna fade their ass all season long.

I took him in 2 diff leagues. That sucks he was off to a nice start.
Now who to pick up to replace him. Pickens are slim.

Toronto Blue Jays are going nowhere fast, the starting pitching just blows. The Reyes injury is huge also.

I've really never been a Reyes fan. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but I just expect disappointment.

He is quite injury prone so that may be it.

They were awful last year w/ all that "talent"....Loria is a hero to any of these dumbass t-shirt Miami sports fans if they had any common sense....which they don't. They didn't show up last year, or the year before, or the year before that to the Nth power....

Yes, they now have to pay an ungodly amount of money back on those AWFUL loans...but that's as much the politicians in Miami as it is the franchise's fault...politicians who these very fans had voted in anyway.

They've won as many World Series as anyone over the last 16 years except the free-spending Yankees, 1 of which was under Loria's watch but they've been running the same system over that entire time....draft and develop, WIN, and then sell your talent because you can't afford it when your average attendance is lower than an MLS soccer club.

Fans are a joke and don't deserve a winning team anyway.

Look at what the Milwaukee Brewers do. They turn out double or triple of the amount of fans as the Marlins, and have been to the playoffs ONCE in the last 20 years. They spent over $100M last year and were barely .500, and they lost their best player 2 years ago (Prince Fielder) for NOTHING because the sport is broken anyway.

The ONLY way for a team to compete that has the fans that the Marlins do who never show up anyway is to draft and develop, win, then trade them for as much talent as you can....but fans are too stupid to get actual business acumen, never even mind the fans that don't even show up and then cry about their team non-stop like the lowlife Marlin's fans do.

Miami fans hate the owners. This team and ownership is a trainwreck this is a lost season for them IMO

But they scored 3 runs in a 10-3 loss to Washington on Monday, matching their season high!

Its fair to say that but I can't completely agree.

This lineup can hit shitty pitching
Juan Pierre can still run the pillows
Palonco still has a little tread in his hitting, he can get on base
    Ruggiano isn't bad
Miguel Olivo will eventually get it going a little as the sesaon moves on

However, Giancarlo Stanon might be the biggest bitchof 2013
I can see that guy have a shitty attitude and give fantasy owners big fits, all year long.

A couple of their pitchers, lie Sanabia could be orth a spot start or two in rotisseie leagues

The people would probably start showing up in larger numbers if the Marlins could field a competitive team.

The field is too big. They should try to build a team like the 85 Cardinals with that giant OF they have to cover.

Doubtful. They didn't show up last season for opening of stadium and promise of big name players and manager.

marlins need to start over they have nothing working at all they need a change, If the management sells though they owe the city money cause they helped fund the stadium and all this other crap. So dont know if there will be a change anytime soon

Stanton is like the only player left on the roster with real value.
