He'll be traded eventually, might not be this year, but there's no way he plays there long term.

But he is on the DL and left with a low batting average.

They should be contracted along with Tampa to give Florida 1 team.

Yes the kid is the real deal, but for fantasy purposes he won't get enough Wins. But if you are getting wins elsewhere, he should be good in all other categories.

Agreed, for how good the Rays are, their fans are pathetic. No one shows up to those games.

Is Tampa heavily populated with elderly people on fixed incomes or do their fans not give a shit?

I think I'm gonna start a Giancarlo Stanton support group.
Looks like the biggest bust of 2013, so far.

    Ruggiano isn't bad
Miguel Olivo will eventually get it going a little as the sesaon moves on

However, Giancarlo Stanon might be the biggest bitchof 2013
I can see that guy have a shitty attitude and give fantasy owners big fits, all year long.

A couple of their pitchers, lie Sanabia could be orth a spot start or two in rotisseie leagues

I let him go and picked up Jorge De La Rosa. I figure the Rockies will have a better season then the Dodgers.

    good post LT

for those of us in rotisserie leagues, we should be aware of hot hitters from Miami to stream in and out, just in case if we need batting average or to scratch a stolen base or a run scored; too hard to guess a home run or an rbi however

Thanks, although "hot hitters from Miami" sounds like an oxymoron. But yes, I get your drift. BTW, Twitter can be a great source of fantasy info sometimes before it hits the major Roto websites.

Terrible stadium in a bad location in a state that isn't really known for having dedicated fans of any sport.

Everyone in florida is from someplace else. Nobody gives a shit about the state unfortunately. Too many immigrants, too many transplants. Nobody cares.

Owners are going to need a support group, they were getting all excited when he hit 3 homers against the crappy Cubs and last night he strained his hamstring and has gone straight to the DL.

I still can't believe Blue Jays were FAVORED to win the AL East before the season! Too bad odds weren't long enough either on the NO for Toronto or on the YES on other teams in the division to get me excited.

Only problem is they should have thrown money at quality players and not the bums they got for last season.

    Jose Reyes = lazy

Mark Buehrle = pitched a perfect game years ago, mediocre pitcher

Heath Bell = bad pitcher who had one good year

Ozzie Guillen = the guy is a hot head

Zambrano = was a great pitcher years ago, hasn't been good since 2009

I'd say Jose Reyes is more injury prone than 'lazy'.

Stanton sucks but if he gets healthy it'll be a different team and has anyone seen this Marcell Ozuna? The guy looks promising. Pick him up if you can.

Yes, they still look stupid. They just moved into a new park a year ago and they're already closing the upper deck because of poor attendance. Alienating your fanbase has it's own cost.

And yet I still bet on this team occasionally. Had them +136 Wednesday and lost 1-0 to Padres.
