**Colorado vs. Clemson**

Champs Sports Bowl, in Orlando

-Las Vegas Sports Consultants has set the line making Clemson 10 point favorites with a total of 45. Action has not moved significantly either way but according to one offshore book, 73% of the money wagered thus far has gone toward Clemson.

-Colorado comes into this game with a 7-5 record (5-7 ATS). Most recently, the Buffs are off an embarassing 70-3 loss in the Big 12 Championship at the hands of the nations second ranked team, Texas.

-Uncertainty surrounds the Colorado program after the dismissal of coach Gary Barnett following the Big 12 Championship. To add to the troubles, starting QB Joel Klatt is questionable for the game as of this writing (check his status prior to making your play). Backup James Cox would be making just his second career start, his last in 2004 against Iowa State.

-Colorado has been outscored 130-22 in their final three games of the season, all losses. The ground attack has been absent as the Buffaloes have rushed for more than 100 yards just once in their last five games.

-Clemson enters bowl season at 7-4 (8-3 ATS). The Tigers have won three straight including victories over rival South Carolina and ACC champion Florida State and have won five of their last six.

-Tigers QB Charlie Whitehurst has undergone arthroscopic surgery to clear up some shoulder problems prior to this game. Whitehurst is likely to start but will be without two of his top targets, WR Kelvin Grant and TE Bobby WIlliamson.

-The Clemson defense has been solid in the last six games, allowing just under 12 points per contest and giving Clemson a +6 turnover ratio in those games.

-Gameday forecast is 60 degrees and sunny in Orlando.
