Yeah, but his skill set limited. That fight was more the ineptitude of another over-self-hyped UFC can.

Do you really want to give the victory to a fighter that ended the fight looking like a beaten mutt hoping his owner doesn't see the pile of poo he's left in the living room? Body-triangles and hugs don't win fights, man.

BTW this is for anyone who thinks Kevin Lee doesn't have a chin:

He survived a spinning wheel kick from Edson Barboza.

Give the man a little credit.

Looking at the fight, really, ask yourself, what the fook skills does lee possess that put him in the top ten of any division? He is strong, but has powder in his gloves. What use is he then, really? Unless he learns to put Khabib type wrestling pressure and overpower nighas from top control, he won't really accomplish much in there.

Almost all Media Members scored it for Al. I lost money on the main event but the right man won here.

He's the #2 wrestler in the division with the #1 GnP.

he got his ass whooped in 4 and 5. just didn't think he lost 1st round and that's why he took 4 off.

I don't want to hear anyone brag about being right on Raging Al unless they had $500 to $1,000 on him.

Most of you probably had $50 on Raging Al and were surprised when he won. Nothing to brag about imo.

But what does he do with that wrestling? He can't keep fighters down long enough to initiate any pound, and just ground doesn't win fights. So he looks to take back control and put in the choke. Outside of that he isn't offering much else. Is he? He doesn't have skills, just body strength to overpower opponents. Then what? Imagine if he just learned how to straight put pressure on dudes with that wrestling. But he doesn't even do that. Can.

Outside of controlling AI with that body lock in rounds 2 and 3, I'm not really sure he won those. Definitely might have lost round 3.

Skipped this card for the most part.

    End result: +20 units.

    10 units on Barboza.
    10 on Rob Font.
    10 on Oliveira.

Would have played more but didn't wake up until Dwight Grant and Zak Ottow were already in the cage & so missed some of those juicier early prospects.

It may very well happen. Tony Ferguson has first dibs on Khabib. Coner's loss drops hims down the rankings. Iaquinta's victory shoots up.

John Kavanagh (Conor's coach) said he wants Conor to retire.

No indications of Conor returning anytime soon.

Well this was an interesting event, I think the judging was very poor. I saw 2 robberies.. I didn't think Al won that decision... That Zak Otto decision was a total joke also.. Dwight Grant won every round.. Total robbery...

I wasn't around to watch this event, I bet it though and was up money leading into the main but hedged poorly with AL ITD prop and KEVIN LEE by Decision.. Lost both prop bets and that took all my profits away.. I was pissed off!!! I thought Al lost that fight 3 rounds to 2.. I gave AL rounds 4 and 5 and that's it.. I thought Kevin Lee won the first 3 rounds...

    Next... Ugghhhh...

Kevin Lee got the take downs in round 1,2 and 3.. I thought he won the first 3 rounds.. Rounds were close though but I personally wouldn't have given AL any of those rounds.. He didn't do enough.. Round 1 Al's face was getting busted up, round 2 he got grounded and pounded on... Round 3 was close and I thought and Lee did enough to get it.. Rounds 4 and 5 were all AL as Lee was fading and getting rocked standing..

That's what I saw anyways.. A split decision was warranted at worst...

and loll Kevin Lee didnt win, i had him in a few parlays it was fairly obvious it came down to round 5 and he lost round 5.. terrible gameplan , he needs a new camp IMO ... needs to use his wrestling more, he shouldve won that fight but Iaquinta showed heart and a solid pace.. Lee needs to develop a bit more but i think he has championship skills if hes mentally there and has a good gameplan/camp.. seems like he can get takedowns at will on basically anybody, but he fell in love with his striking a bit too much here

Wrestlers curse when falling in love with their striking... Happens to alot of UFC fighters.. KOS stands out the most.. So many others...

Oooops I'm a wrestler by nature and it got me this far in my MMA career but now I'm a self proclaimed great stand up fighter and boxer so I don't need to shoot for those doubles anymore..
