    Poirier +205? Thoughts?

I'm new to the ufc betting scene and would like to know the forum's thoughts to this fight.

It should be a great fight. Poirier at that line is hard to pass up...

Are people still not accepting that Conor is the GOAT?

"Spittin in the cage man, what's that about"!!

    "Just adjusting my moustache"!!!

"Ugly Northern Ireland kid...they're not known for their good looks those Northern Irish...not like us handsome Dubs!!"

How much research have you done on the fight so far? Actually McGregor's smirk at your ridiculous question is all the insight that you need. SBG is going to continue to produce Irish Jedi from now till the end of time. John Kavanagh has something real special going on over there in Ireland. That's all that you really need to understand.

These are my two favorite fighters. Mcgregor is really technical and diverse in his striking. Poirier has good submissions and is very tough but I believe Mcgregor has more confidence in himself and Poirier has some mileage on him. Anything can happen but I would bet on mcgregor. It's kind of late now. I will feel bad for Poirier if he loses cause he seems like a good guy. McGregor vs Aldo in a soccer stadium in 2015

+10000000000000. It's going to take a lot more than Poirier's dirty little redneck hands to expose the GoAT's majestic man-mallet.

Sometimes hype is all hype, and sometimes its justified. People should by know recognise that mcgregor is a special talent, like gunnarson. They were crazy hyped before the ufc, and they continue to win. Many fighters need years and years of fighting. They are massive talents. Think aboiut Dhong Y.Kim he fought sadollah back in 2010, and he is still improving, and he is freakin talent. Or lawler, he is in his prime now, after how long, 12-13 years?. Mcregor and gunnarson just came and are a couple of fights away from the title. Thats huge. Its INSANE. Most of us couldnt even get best grades in a class of 20. Theyr probably Top 3-4 in the world for their age group.

bj, you are from iceland, yeah? are you queer for gunnar and conor?

seriously though, i think some hype is justified for both of them. and i'm a little bit queer for both guys too. but the question is not whether any hype is justified, but rather how much? you think top 3-4? maybe you're right, but i'd like to see how they perform against top talent before anointing them the next jon jones and chris weidman.

I like Conor and all too but he hasn't faced anyone yet - I mean shit Dustin finished Max Holloway - Conor went to the cards - granted when Dustin fought him he was still very raw - this will be a good test for Conor - line is a little silly IMO but maybe Conor will live up to it

wtf brah, don't disparage the GOAT like that. Conor pulled his knee out early in the Holloway fight yet still showed the will of a lion and fight of a Zulu warrior

Conor can't lose. I heard someone say in one of Ariel Helwani's videos that he can kill you just by touching pressure points on your body. There is no way Poirier can compete with that.

I wasn't breaking down the fight - just noting that Conor hasn't fought anybody special - he gets through Dustin and I will agree hype is warranted - I mean anyone who can land this tail deserves some respek in my book:

My official non-anlaysis analysis would be that the line has been inflated by the GoAT hype train creating value in Diamond - Conor may still get the W but the value is on the other side at the current line
