I cant wait to see taproot, they say its going to make things so much easier. I don’t think it will drop under 25k either maybe a quick flash crash if even that.

I am starting to see technical signs of accumulation. Also a lot less laser eyes and random friends asking when it’s going to moon. Bearish > Bullish News. Time to quietly pack those bags.

Whos speculating on the price? Do you understand the bitcoin 4 year cycle because of the halving that occurs? Just trying to let u know out of the whole 4 year cycle this is literally the worst possible time for anyone to get scared off and the next 6 months of each one has always created bank for people. If for some reason(which I highly doubt) this doesn't happen, then maybe time to rethink bitcoin price and the whales completely fooled me and alot of other people who have been around this for a long while. I saw you were upset last week cause of bitcoin and just wanted to get you to relax a bit.

all anyone can do is speculate/guess on what's gonna happen. No one knows. This is an unknown venture and it has no business being at the price it is, but it is. Can it go to 60K again or higher? Sure. Maybe. Probably. Maybe not. Can it go to 8K or lower even? Probably. Maybe. doubtful. Anything's possible.

There are a million crypto "experts" but there are also none.

Never really claimed to be an expert or even trying to speculate on a price. People need to understand some things about Bitcoin right now and know that doing anything drastic is going against the grain this year. For me I wont sell any that I have until the price target is reached, which I feel is coming by the end of the year, if not I can wait because I'm in no rush to sell what I have saved for the years it has took me to get. If anything I would top it off and add more on the way down.

I wasn't referring to you or anyone else for that matter. Just a general statement. I have speculated on what might happen. No one knows.

There is no legitimate reason for Bitcoin (or any other crypto) to be the price it is. I am not complaining, just saying.

Gold is valuable because of it's scarcity. Bitcoin is valuable because of it's scarcity. Bitcoin is easier to transfer than gold. It's now a digital world and things don't need to be held in your hand. NFT's, crypto-currencies, blockchains, DeFi, AI, virtual reality and augmented reality are the future.

Bitcoin crash = Dotcom crash. Same exact scenario.

    https://www.investopedia.com/terms/d...20of%20profits.

The dotcom crash was triggered by the rise and fall of technology stocks. The growth of the Internet created a buzz among investors, who were quick to pour money into startup companies. These companies were able to raise enough money to go public without a business plan, product, or track record of profits.

I think when you look at it, there is no reasonable argument someone cld make for unprofitable coins with no current utility not ending badly...regardless of their networking effect, they still have to be useful...that’s why when a bear market creeps its ugly head into the cupboard, it’s best to consolidate into only high conviction positions. And really if we are being serious only bitcoin and ethereum have shown any staying power.

I'd agree to a lot of this. A huge percentage of these coins are worthless except for short term gains. A bear market is inevitable and these type of coins will crash heavily. ADA could be added with ETH and BTC as sustainable. Obviously there are others but it's tough to figure out eventual winners of NFT, DeFi and DEX.

That's exactly what I did starting 2nd April 2020. Thought 7k range was just too low and started buying weekly with just what I had spare. Usually around 300 bucks at a time, and kept doing it until price hit 10k.

I am thinking about starting the same process again too. But just for a small amount I won't notice each week for now, as I am thinking there is a decent chance we are going to be stuck in the 20k-40k range for quite some time now.

If saving into a bank account anyway, may as well have at least some of that going into crypto I think.
