How do people make money off this shit? Seriously. I'm not a big time trader. I look at my coins once or twice a day. I've made a few trades. I'm down around 15 percent of my original investment from almost 2 months ago. Im beginninv to think this is a scam

I commend those who take the time to do research on the coins in ICO's. But the skeptic in me worries about white papers. Anyone can write one, and some are smoother at this than others. I also worry about making judgments based on the people involved. Again I could make all kinds of claims in a resume. Tread carefully boys.

I'll put it this way; when it comes to judging a team, if you're down to two projects and the leader of one project was some guy who claims to have started a successful e-commerce company and the other is Jeff Bezos, which project would you pick? It's not always that black and white when picking team members, but it can be much easier to verify claims of someone if their project was more high profile. I.e. If the project has one of the founding member of Ethereum, then I would rather go with them than someone who's background is not as verifiable.

Wondering if prices will hover or even climb as we get closer to SB and people are going to be moving funds to deposit (and withdraw when the game ends) into/out of their sports books for the Super Bowl. I know it's not the only use of Bitcoin, but it's not a non-zero percentage either.

It would only be temporary if it did have an effect, but just something to consider.

i myself am waiting till the 26th when the futures settle up to buy. if it goes back to 8-9k im willing to gamble the price spike in december was the ppl buying after btc futures was announced in order to short it for the first round then they should buy em back up after the 26th to drive the price up for the next round.

I'm not worried. If BTC crashes to 3K tomorrow then oh well. It won't just die out of the blue. Way too much is going on in the crypto world for the whole market to just die. I wouldn't have any money that I plan on needing for the next 2-3 years just in case though. That is what I currently have in the market. I've contemplated putting more into it than I have now but I don't wanna get ****** with a crash and have to wait to recoup.

Coins like VEN and WABI have some actual outside the box ideas with solid tech IMO. They aren't carbon copies of other stuff like most shitcoins

VEN rebranding. You'll earn a tiny amount of THOR for the VEN that you have in your wallet. WTC has some big announcement coming up in a couple of days. VEN has the advantage of government support but that could change. I like all 3, VEN, WTC and WaBi.

Bought some more WABI myself, actually a product being used. I said it earlier in this thread, I believe 2018 well see so many coins come out, over hyped with no purpose, basically useless. In 2019 I think only the more stable ones will survive, and all these coins you never heard of will probably start dieing off, imo. Best of Luck fellas
