I like Texas again too. Smith has some good career numbers against texas. The problem is he can't go deep into games and their bully has been struggling lately. Don't like it as much as yesterday but Seattle is terrible on the road.

I actually did take the Yanks RL, but I parlayed it with Boston RL...just a "Blue Star" play. And I'm already on the Lakers +4

Nice day all around, was able to get two more "Hong Kong Gold" plays into the mix and they both hit. I added to the Lakers under of 190.5 for 10u (as I said I would) and played the over 95 in the second half for a pseudo-middle. Yes I got greedy, but what is my motto? That's right "Greed is Good." Could have been a really nice day if the Sox didn't blow it and Vujacic or Kobe hit that last three. Pounded the Texas RL again as I hope you did as well. Also hit the Nats to round out bases at 2-2 today. Overall the "Hong Kong Gold" plays went 3-1 today, for +17u (4-1 with the 2nd half over play, for +27u).

    6.10.10 record:
    MLB 2-2 +9.6u
    NBA 2-1 +9u
    Total 4-3 +18.6u

    Blue Horseshoe Record: 1-0, +50u
    Hong Kong Gold Record: 5-5, + 4u
    Blue Star: 1-2, -4.4u
    Gekko's YTD Record: 7-7, +49.6u

"Blue Horseshoe" loves Texas RL. Yes that's right, "Greed is Good", and there's still profit to be taken from the hottest team in the league right now. I advise to get a jump on this early as the -1.5 line is around +140. You will not get this value come game time. So the first play I want to get out today is the biggest, Texas -1.5 RL +140 over MIL. One more thing, previous BLUE HORSESHOE plays started at 10u+ as the minimum , however, as this is a very special play that doesn't come along every day, I'm raising that minimum to 20u+. And believe you me, I put my money where my mouth is. If I'm calling out a BLUE HORSESHOE play, there will be a BLUE HORSESHOE ticket for no less than 20u. The first BLUE HORSESHOE play was a WINNER for 50u! (*Caveat, always bet what is comfortable for you. Me stating it's a min. 20u+ play just means it's a play that I'm extremely confident in)

    6.11.10 Plays
Texas -1.5 RL +140 - BLUE HORSESHOE PLAY

More plays to follow in about an hour

Wagering Legend (More details to follow)
    Blue Horseshoe (20u+ plays)
    Hong Kong Gold (5-15u plays)
    Blue Star (1-5u plays)

Just a few notes on the Texas vs Milwaukee game:

    Historical numbers:
This is the first series between these teams since the Rangers won two of three games at home against the Brewers from June 8-10, 2007.
Milwaukee has lost seven of its last nine interleague matchups

    Season numbers for series openers:
Opening up a series following a loss MIL is 4-7
Opening up a series following a win TX is 5-2

    Last 7 games performance:
Texas leads the league with 54 runs scored
Milwaukee is 24th in the league with 20 runs scored

Texas leads the league in 81 hits recorded
Milwaukee is 29th with just 39 hits recorded

Texas is 2nd, trailing only Tampa Bay by one, with 10 HRs (*It should also be noted that in this 7 day stretch Milwaukee leads the league with 10 HRs given up to opponents.)
Milwaukee is 22nd with 4 HRs to their credit

Texas leads the league with a whopping .885 OPS
Milwaukee is dead last with the league worst .582 OPS

Texas is also leading the league with a .327 BA
Milwaukee's BA over this period is an abysmal .191

    Pitching over the last 7:
Texas, not known in years past for it's pitching prowess, is 5th in the league with a 3.00 ERA
    Milwaukee is 22nd with a 4.95 ERA

Opponents are batting just .211 against Texas over this period
Milwaukee is holding opponents to a .252 BA

    Individual Performers:
    Texas
Josh Hamiliton has hit .417 (10 for 24) with two homers, a triple and two doubles in seven games versus the Brewers.
Vladimir Guerrero is a career .360 hitter vs Milwaukee with 12 HRs, 40 runs, and 42 RBIs. Over his last 8 games Vlad is batting .382 with 1 HR, 4 2B, 8 runs, and 9 RBIs
Rich Harden has faired well in interleague play, going 1-0 with a 1.38 ERA in two starts at Miller Park and 19-9 with a 2.85 ERA in 44 starts versus NL teams.

    Milwaukee
Corey Hart, who has an NL-leading 16 homers for Milwaukee, is hitting .115 (3 for 26) with nine strikeouts in his last six interleague games. Brewers slugger Ryan Braun is batting .207 (6 for 29) with one RBI in his last seven contests against AL opponents.

Milwaukee will give the ball to Chris Narveson (4-3, 5.83), who is 1-3 with a 6.59 ERA over his last five starts. The left-hander surrendered four runs in six innings of a 5-4, 11-inning loss to St. Louis on Saturday.

This is Narveson's first appearance against the Rangers.

Also really leaning towards Tampa Bay later as well...need to dig up a few more things, but this is my heaviest lean at the moment.
Other games I currently interested in:

KC at Cinci (I like Cinci here but need to dig a bit more)

HOU at NYY (I really like Pettitte in this spot against his former team. Even though Houston has been hot of late, they are the worst hitting team in the league against LHP, and Pettitte is one of the best)

TOR at COL Under 7.5 (Both offenses have been struggling and these aren't the pitches you can afford to struggle against)

Pitt at Det (The more I look into this game the more I'm skeptical of this Ohlendorf kid, plus Detroit just cannot score at the moment. They are 27th in the league in run production over the last 7)

Wash at CLE (I like Cleveland here, don't know quite why yet but I do. Maybe it's because they are second in run production behind Texas over the last 7. I have my doubts about Westbrook though)

    Be back soon...

I agree with your Texas pick and love your analysis of the game. I also like Cincinnati, but I like Washington to beat Cleveland. Detroit probably wins tonight but the price is too crazy to play.

Texas really is the better team d33. One lapse in judgment caused Texas the game IMHO. It's the second time in back to back games that Borbon cost the team runs. Against Seattle he threw the ball in the stands when he obviously had no play at third, that cost Texas two runs. They were lucky they were playing against Seattle AT home AND and Snell. Today's game was over after the dumb fyck tried to steal third in the top of 3 with 1 out, AND with Andrus coming up who has been batting over .400 in his last 10 games. It was a fycking joke, because Andrus sure as hell got a base knock that would of drove him home to tie the game, with still only one out. Next up comes Young, who fyckin doubles bringing home Andrus. Right there Texas should of been up by one with only one out and Young on second. That single mistake by Borbon killed all the momentum that Texas was building up, gave Narveson some confidence that he could get out of the jam with minimal damage and that's what happened. What could of been possibly a 4+ run inning, turned into 1 run and a BIG momentum victory for Milwaukee, especially at home. Baseball, as it is with most sports, and I know because I played ball all my life up through college, is about momentum. When a team loses it, especially in someone else's house it can be a HUGE hurdle to overcome. Anyway...I'm done ranting haha. All in all in wasn't really too bad of a day. Hitting Boston RL, Giants RL & ML, and the LAA/LAD over minimized my lossed quite a bit. I had $3450 on Texas but I went pretty big on Boston RL at +135 ($2,000 made me $2700) plus another $1000 on the Giant's RL at +130....I don't my head is spinning. All in all I think I lost maybe a grand, actually it might be a little less. I don't know I have to go through all these tickets. I always have my "running total" in my head when I'm wagering but my brain is fried right now. Heading out now to grab some drinks with some friends. Today is no big deal, you win some you lose some, but you keep on fighting. Tomorrow is right around the corner and don't think for one moment I'm going anywhere. I'll be right back here tomorrow, and who know maybe I'll play another "Blue Horeseshoe" if I find one in my search. Until then, cheers brah. Let's get'm tomorrow! I'm out....

Man i did not know that happened. I worked until 11pm tonight and did not have a chance to go over the games yet. My old college coach used to say there is a turning point in every game. Anyways enjoy your night out. Good shi t on the other games you cashed. I was going to caution you against the dodger over because i had a feeling the dodgers were going to come out flat but i guess it didnt matter because billingsly got his lit.
I really like the under in the San Diego game tomorrow. What do you think?

d33 the under looks pretty good to me with Lee pitching, especially against the pads who are notorious for low scoring games. GL. I'll post some more plays later
