I've beat the opener by 20 cents three times this year and lost all three games.

Today I faded that movement and took the Tigers.

This is just like last year so far. The opening number seems to be the most important.

It's literally not even worth considering anymore.

Look at Cincinnati (opened at +195, closed at +165) and Atlanta (opened at +240, closed at +210) yesterday. It means nothing. In fact, if you beat a closing number by that much, it means you probably have a losing ticket.

In that case do you think it's best to hedge your bet when a line moves far enough to warrant it?

Pick what you think will happen and don't let the public influence it at all.
I can't get on the right side of these damn Tigers games grr

I was going to play the Marlins yesterday and then the line shifted heavily in the Mets favor so it scared me away.

Miami was up 7-0 after the second inning....

    Looks solid.

Miami seems like a no brainier with the way the Mets are hitting.

And then the Braves walk Rendon with two outs to get to Harper who promptly doubles in two runs....

Anyone know why the Braves pulled Chacin at 69 pitches when he had a shutout going.

This Atlanta team is borderline minor league.

Good question and good point. I think the Rangers take the sweep here. The M's are cold and I think you fade them until they prove otherwise.

Set for action. People will see Walker vs a guy who hasn't really pitched in 2.5 years. Also the "avoid the sweep at home" angle. Line has dropped considerably in the past hour.

But anyone backing a team that has lost 5 in a row with that kind of juice is insane. If anything Tex -1.5 +215 is worth a shell.

I like the Twins too, but scared to bet them until they get out of this offensive funk.

    HOU -107 (2.14U to win 2)
    BOS -118 (2.36U to win 2)

I've thought the Twins would get off the Schnide the last three games.

One lesson I've the learned the hard way over the years is to not fade streaks.

Speaking of streaks....Atlanta is down again and Balty is up again.

Seriously, the books have been very generous with the Orioles so far this year.

That team will regress but their on fire coming out of the gate.

Huge line drop in Atlanta's favor = loss
Huge line drop in Cincy's favor = loss
Huge line drop in Milwaukee's favor = loss

Seriously, should just focus on fading these and nothing else.

Doesn't even compare to what just happened in the Heat game. Heat scored 5 points in the 3rd quarter. They're being outscored 49-17 in the second half. Yeah I'm on Miami and Twins
