I changed my mind taking a small Pirate ML, due to RLM, drop from -165 to -150 range with more than 80 % of bettors on Cub. Taking Twins OVER 9.5 big

ragiche, I like that play because Lilly is 1-1 with a 1.69 ERA over his last 3 starts. His one start against Pittsburgh earlier this season he went 7IP 3R 2ER. McCutchen has only pitched one start and it was a quality one 6IP 3ER albeit against the Reds. He throws a lot of strikes but can give up a lot of hits cause he doesn't really have a strikeout pitch. The Cubs haven't seen him yet so you'd have to give him the advantage against the hitters.
I'm leaning towards the Under 8.

Game 1 - CC Sabathia is 4-0 with a 2.21 ERA in his last 5 starts. Granted he's struggled against the Rays this year in 2 starts (0-1, 5.93 ERA), but I believe he's due for a good game against them. In the bullpen Aceves is rested as well as Rivera after not pitching for 5 days due to a sore groin. Hughes may also see some action.

Matt Garza is 0-1 with a 6 ERA in his last 5 starts. Against NYY he's 0-1 with a 2.84 ERA in 3 starts. Jeter, Cano, and Swisher are the only Yankees who can hit him. I have to believe they'll see Balfour and Wheeler which they don't always hit that great either.

Note: NYY have only lost the series opener at home 4 times this season.
    Prediction: Yankees ML -175 | Under 9 | TB: 3 NYY: 5

wound up breaking even last week after a poor day today - started monday off with the following early afternoon play:

    Mon 9/7-

(3x) yanks -1.5/+110 - this is a nice revenge angle for a red hot sabathia who has a 2.61/1.20 in his last 3 with 27k's in 20 inn. hes pitching like a dominant ace down the stretch as he did in 2008. with a career 2.95/1.08 vs the rays, he should be able to avenge both losses to tampa from earlier in the year when he was pitching more like a #2. the rays are 1-6 in garza's 7 career starts vs the yanks. these are 2 teams headed in opposite directions right now.

Thx.The Cubs lost the series to the lowly mets and also some dough. The buccos lost the series but they also they earn some dough.I'm not chasing,i didn't play these teams in their last series.I just observing the other games which are hot to the public bet wise. So, I think with my calculation the cubs will win the series and win the 1st game.Just my thoughts.

    Boston/Chicago White Sox - Over 8½
Buehrle throws too many strikes for the Red Sox lineup. The only way he'll have some success is if he gets the corners in the strike zone. Beckett has an 8.05 ERA giving up 9 HRs in his last 3 starts. He just looks fatiguted lately. Dye, Pierzynski, and Konerko will hammer those fastballs and hanging sliders. Boston's pen hasn't looked great either especially Ramon Ramirez and Hideki Okajima.
    Boston - ML
The Red Sox have a 5-0 Team Start Record when Beckett pitches against Chicago. On the other hand, Chicago is 6-7 with Buehrle on the hill. A 1.47 WHIP is too high against Boston especially with Bay, V-Mart, and Ortiz.

thats exactly my plan. as of now, i do like the over in game2. what would be perfect today is like a 4-1 yanks win in game 1. i'll then roll those profits on the high in game 2.

Gnutti, I'd hold off on that because Burnett has shown no control lately and has been getting spanked around. Although he has a 2.14 ERA against the Rays this year and is due for a good start. He will get strikeouts with the Rays if he has the strong bite to his curve ball because the Rays like to get on base and will chase pitches with their young lineup. Sonnanstine is making his 2nd start since June after being recalled from AAA. He didn't pitch very deep into his first start against Boston going only 4 innings on 91 pitches and giving up 3 runs. That won't bode well for him with a lineup as patient as NY. It's all about him changing speeds and having his slow curve ball working.

cin/col gm has 2 very hot pitchers starting 2day and as much as iwould like 2 take the reds w all that plus money dont think i can pass on und 4.5 ist 5 and und 9 for the gm. also feel like richard for sd can hold is own against penny and really like sd 1st 5 and the under. last one ive thought through so far is the stl/mil gm the juice is 2 high but the series stl is only -155 with 1st gm we have carp vs bush 2nd gm smoltz vs parra 3rd wainwright vs suppan. any time i can get carp and wainwright in a series im on it. imo stl hasnt lost a series since the holliday trade! i dont post much but always check out your guys toughts and up until this weekend have been doing quite well at this thing we do. ALL OF YOUR THOUGHTS ON THESE WOULD BE APPRECIATED. AND GL 2 EVERY1 2DAY

Dexter, just wanted to throw some trends out there for you on the game 2 over.
SONNANSTINE: TB 20-10 UNDER as an underdog
BURNETT: 15-5 UNDER when working on 5 or 6 days rest

Burnett is on 6 days rest and also has a good record and ERA when pitching after a Yankees loss.
