Game 2 in this series, in which Mets lead 1-0 after a great defensive performance yesterday,a 3-0 shutdown. Mets and Nationals are teams that I usually don't touch, I think here is some value to bet on. As a team, Mets are batting a poor .243, with a total of 177 runs, 15th place in the MLB. But if you think Mets are batting poorly, just check the Nationals stats: .225 batting average, dead last in the majors, and 157 total runs, 25th place. Washington has some luck with their pitching staff, that makes the most work in this ball club. They have an average of 3.64 ERA (12th place) and a 1.31 WHIP (15th place). On the other hand, Mets are terrible with their pitchers this year (what a surprise), with a 3.97 ERA (20th place) and a 1.41 WHIP (26th place).
Pitchers battle:
Dillon Gee > Young pitcher with a good arm, Gee has a 4.44 ERA and a 1.44 WHIP plus 22 SO's. He started this season on a high note, with 2 W's in a row against Atlanta and Arizona, but was moved in the bullpen since. This season he allowed 15 runs on 24,7 innings of work and is coming in this game after a poor performance against the Astros a week ago, allowing 4 runs in 5 innings of throwing.
Livian Hernandez > The 36 year old veteran, will be the SP for the Nationals today. Former Mets, released in 2009, has played since 6 times against his old team, and stands with a 2-1 record and a 1.95 ERA. Has a 3-5 record, a 3.92 ERA and a 1.41 WHIP. He allowed 29 runs in 56.4 innings of work.

This will be another game between two poor teams, but altough all the signs point in the under direction, Hernandez is due to a bad game against the Mets and Gee has shown flashes of talent at the start of the season, I think that Nationals will come in this one more focused and ready to produce some runs against this young arm.

Yes, I know. All the signs are pointing to the unders here. But today I decided to bet only on my feeling and my feeling is screaming over in this one. I made that write-up for users to see that I think it will be under and help them decide that way. But I will bet on overs. It is just like yesterday with Cardinals TT over. I backed my feeling and I won. I will do the same thing today
