What's the point of the postponement when the remainder of the match wasn't going to last for more than a minute?

Halep hasn't been in great form if you look at her matches and close 3 set loss comebacks.
Wang should have taken her to 3 and I frankly thought she would've won. If Wang didn't double fault and lose her service games up 40-0 and 40-15 then she would have won the 1st.
