    08/09 Tennis: fading Querrey

Kiddpokerr was kind enough to let me make my picks in his threads. I kind of enjoyed the back-and-forth but it's time for me to make my own thread.

Here are my picks in his thread:

    08/05
    Querrey -2.5
    WIN

    08/06
    Zverev/Anderson over 24
    LOSS

    08/06
    Polansky +3
    WIN

    08/08
    Radwanska +3
    WIN

    08/09
    Tsonga -130 over Querrey
As you may see above, I back Querrey against Kokk. I felt he was the much better player. Querrey faltered in the second set and lost that set. He did come back in the 3rd set to cover the -2.5 but I felt he looked weak.

Today (08/08) he again looked weak against #155 Vincent Millot losing the first set 5-7 and eking out a win by winning the last 2 sets 7-6, 7-5. Not hardly a commanding win over #155.

Tsonga will be out for revenge since Querrey beat him at Wimbledon in a long match of 26 63 675 61 57.

Yes! Sounds good but I'm afraid I'm looking at the other side of one of your bets. We could both win if Barty fails to win by 3.

    Barty -167
Ashleigh has been doing well against top competition lately:
-She played well against #5 Svitolina at Wimbledon
-She played well in the finals at Birmingham against #16 Kvitova
-She played a good second set against #8 Konta at Nottingham

She also looks like a lesbian so she has that going for her.

    Never in doubt!

Great 3rd set! Four match points for Zverev and three match points for Gasquet, all with Zverev serving.

Never bet on Querrey , Kevin Anderson, Tsonga , Isner , and Verdasco . All walking stifffs who never are dependable to bet on for any type of court surface . All very inconsistent to bet on . I have learned the hard way after many years of betting on tennis .

There are far worse players out there. Fognini, Bellucci, Troicky...

I agree , but at least you know you will win 95 percent of the time if you bet against Fognini/belluci /trociki !! Lol
