Petkovic v Stephens
They both say they prefer the clay.
Petkovic has been rolling losing only to Bouchard at Wimbledon and Serena in Stanford but her wins aren't against very impressive players.
Stephens appears to be playing poorly losing 6 of her last 10 and hasn't won a match other than Wozniack (not Wozniacki) in nearly two months.
Petkovic is at -163 which seems like the play.
Thoughts?
Personally played over 21.5.
I would say it is around 50-50 so take Stephens given the odds..maybe the over is the best bet imo . I expect a 3 setter.
Remember, when both are on Stephens has a way better serve

Certainly a struggle the last two days. Can't catch any breaks (0-9 on TBs) and some bad reads. After going tilt live betting on Stephens and big on Halep I've turned it around to a small loss (less than 5 units) day.
Will definitely be fading Halep going forward. Worst #2 player ever. Absolutely has no serve and no ability to hit winners or put her opponent under pressure.

Clearly you don't know much about Halep.
Relative to her rank, however, what you say holds some amount of truth.
I don't know much other than she was riser of the year in 2013 and had a terrific run at the French and Wimbledon this year.
What I've seen with my own eyes (admittedly only two matches) is that she simply puts the ball back in play and has no real weapons. She can win a lot of matches that way but if the bigger hitters on the tour are playing decent I don't see how Halep has a chance on hard courts.
I also know she had a breast reduction which is a damn shame.
She is most definitely capable of power-hitting and even hard serving, despite her highest qualities being those of consistency and retrieving.
Like I said though, on a relative basis you are right. Effectively this means your assessment is pretty much correct against in-form Kvitovas, Williams, Bouchards, Sharapovas, etc.
Really thought this one would go over last night, perhaps Sloane is coming out of her dogshit form at a good time...
perhaps you're underrating this skill in regard to WTA play...
