    When in Rome... 1/16

    Raonic - Tsonga

It's time for Raonic to make next step towards the star level... I hate him in general, but Tsonga did struggle more against Andersson than Raonic against Italian trash.... And on clay he has a better chance than on any other surface.

Pick: Raonic ML @ around 2.00

    Melzer - Murray

Oh, Andy, Andy...despite the good record against Melzer i have doubts in Murray's game. And Melzer did produce some good tennis (vs Cilic and Isner), so he has a very good chance to steal a set. Murray is still not there and he might even lose this match.

    Pick: Melzer +1.5 sets @ 2.15

    Dimitrov - Berdych

In Madrid Berdych was more confident till he met Nadal and got smoked. I think Dimitrov is more positive in his tennis. It will be a battle but i am leaning towards the Dimitrov.

    Pick: Dimitrov ML @ 2.3

    Djokovic - Kohl...

Novak amazingly struggled against Stepanek. If he does not raise his game today....Kohlshreiber may easily win a set and at these odds it's a value bet to me. Kohlshreiber is not to be trusted, but looks like his game is ok this week.

    Pick: Kohl..+1.5 sets @ 3.28

    Ferrer - Gulbis

Gulbis was so bad yesterday, that I can't imagine him coming out as a winner today. But then again, u never know. Ferrer will swipe him away if he does play like in Madrid, but I have some doubts he will be the same David we saw last week. 1st match against Kuku... is not to be even considered as some measure of performance.

    Pick: Gulbis ML @ 3.19

    all odds are from pinnacle.

BOL. i like most of these myself. find it very interesting they are offering ferrer -1.5 sets @2.17 after their meeting last week/gulbis' performance yesterday. seems trappy

Last week Gulbis was balling and he was up a break in the 2nd set vs Ferrer. So he might take a set today. But slower clay and Gublis' crazy brain still makes Ferrer an overall fav.

true. hard to see gulbis winning tomorrow, but it's possible. very weird odds imo probably will take him to win a set.

I like the statement that Raonic has a better chance over Tsonga on clay vs e.g. I_Hard ! That must be the joke of the day. Most of the other writeups are equally hilarious. Keep up the good work.

Nah, I did find his write-ups pretty amusing. Beginners luck might carry him to a 5-0 opening, though. That would the ultimate joke... on me. I do like two of his picks. So I wish him luck.

Im surprised.....u think Raonic would have a better chance if they played it on hard/grass court. No way. Tsonga is far more better on those ones. Raonic for sure is better himself on hard courts, but he would not beat Tsonga on them as his return game is worse.

But here on clay Tsonga can't hold his serve that impressively. Yesterday he had to fight for it often vs a guy who is unknown on clay.

so not sure what are u missing out?

    There are 2 scenarios. ALWAYS.

    1)
In most of time it's hilarious if you bet more on dogs and explain why you do that. And then if i win, I am just a lucky beginner.

    2)
I back favs more, explaining why ballers like Murray, Tsonga and Ferrer would win cleanly their opponents. Most of regular folk would agree saying "hey, buddy...nice picks...BOL and blah blah". But then if u lose, no one laughs at you....maybe one gambler adds..."unlucky, man....BOL for future picks"

Now which scenario should I choose, huh? u tell me...

im not worried i just recognize the potential more than smaller odds backers.

as for 23.5 ....i think it will go over .... but i would not pick it for those odds. in fact 23.5 is a line which most likely will take 3 sets to beat. on clay as u know serve gets broken more often, and tie-breaks are less presented. so what ? 7-6, 6-4 does not help you if it goes 2 sets.

I would go for 3 sets played or take the max over u can get....over 25?

You chose the scenario in which you make more money long-term, buddy. I do not care which nor do I care about your winnings or losses. Not until you proved to be a long-term winner or loser, anyway. As for the write-ups, they are hilarious not because you are choosing dogs but because they defy any logic. Who knows, maybe you found the right way to cap tennis. And yeah bud, since this is like the first time you posted your picks you are a beginner on SBR. So if you go 5-0 that can still be called beginner's luck. If you go ~25-10 then you'll have a throng of followers, not that it is very likely though.

im not proving anything. I know im a winner in most times. u don't search for logic in tennis. gives you no good.

In tennis yes it is, definitely.

First bets of my life, 3 years ago, i went 12-1 on my first 13 bets.
when i started losing, typical mistake from the beginner, increased stakes and lost everything.

Unfortunately IMO you have to lose a lot, first, to learn, and start understanding how betting works. And then hope to win your losses back.

Yeah I agree tennis is very hard and abit is beginners luck. But you said you increased stakes and lost everything. thats not about being a good bettor. Just means you were bad at bankroll Management i can say everyone has been there. But Yes im going to be running my bets alot stricter and hopefully I go well.

    Im surprised im
    Win Percentage 78.95% | 15-4-1 s
as tennis isnt my strong point. But im a good bettor I like to think. Other bets are hampering my bankroll at the moment so im trying to get a good spot with amount of bets per day and not just unload cause i lost the last bet. But I must say in the 15-4 2 of the loses were actually trying to hedge bets. But time will tell.

Not a bad start actually. Somehow Raonic won. Good luck on your Kohli bet.
