    nishikori to win madrid +1525

he's been as hot as anybody recently. not much explanation needed here, but he has a nice draw opposite nadal. wawa will be very tough if he makes if that far, but he has looked great so far this season and I really liked how he looked on clay last week losing 1 set all week. good luck to me.

he'll be lucky to get by dodig...over inflated by that weak lineup to the barca title...took a tired cilic who came from a 3 set tie break extravaganza and a cup is half empty giraldo...wont be easy for him tnite

    dodig didn't have a chance.

in his last 10 matches kei's beaten federer, ferrer, dimitrov, gulbis & bautista-agut.

price may be inflated.. as hardcore loves to point out, but I still made the small risk.

scoreline inflated. nish had him at deuce in almost all of dodigs serve games. without his big serve, he wouldn't have won many games. also nish looked great thru out the match. prob wont win madrid bt he should do well

Future bets are a no-no. If you take them often, 99.9999% you lose money

simply wrong. you can make good coin.

Ive made a lot of money with futures the past 2 years. had fognini a bunch of times last season during his run. gulbis a couple months ago. dimitrov in acapulco. murray at wimbledon last year. & bartoli at like 55 to 1 at wimbledon last year as well(courtesy of EP).

nadal is nadal.. probably will win, but he looked out of form last week. with joker injured i think it's worth taking a chance with some other guys this week.

I am still not convinced future bets are profitable. It is not easy to cap a single game, let alone a tourney

so then what is your explanation to my profits on them since betting them? luck? maybe your approach isn't profitable.

    I think you are minority.

An Australian won $196,000 US Dollars from Li Na * Wawrinka outright parlay, betting $435 @452

    http://espn.go.com/tennis/aus14/stor...-one-australia

This guy is also a minority. I think losing money is a lot easier on Futures and bookies view Futures as their admiral ships.

    Still congrats on your wins

we are the minority, posting on gambling forums.
i think there are lots of sharp dudes out there making a killing on tennis futures.
i guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
either way, keep on truckin nishikori.

IMO they can be worth it if you play them selectively. This will mean that you are going to bet a few times per year and your sample size is never going to be decent enough (i.e. Cornet to win Katowice at @13 was fat value imo)

Having said all that, skipping futures at all is never going to be a mistake.

The only way you consistently lose money is if your player loses in their first match (terrible luck or bad capping maybe) or you're stubborn and don't trade out when the opportunity is there. Otherwise, there is no reason you can't make money. It's just an understanding on what you're getting into. Too many people play them just looking for the end game of a big payout on longer odds.

There are situations where you're going to be able to ride it out and maybe hit something like that, but the majority of the time - your futures plays are for trading purposes. If you understand that, you can make money just like you can make a daily bet on a match IMO. You won't make a profit necessarily every tournament you try, but guess what - you don't make a profit necessarily playing single bets every day throughout a tourney either!

    Futures IMO are still underutilized.

She was $11 at the semi final stage alone

There are some decent ones with smaller fields like Katowice

Dont see how you make money from this post. Dont get how you guarantee to make money when your guy passes first but loses the second.

We will just agree to disagree. To me, it is kind of like playing draws in soccer. You're going to lose more than 50%, but you hit for better odds so you don't have to win as much as laying -110 every day. If you don't have patience though, it's tough because you will have tournaments where your guy goes out early.

you think? he looked like shit against ramos.
ferrer is a horrible matchup for gulbis. ferrer's game is literally made for beating someone like gulbis.

kei hasn't lost a set for like 3 weeks
