Two plays for you today : Stosur +Pospisil ......here's why:

I'm taking both matches at Rod Laver Arena today with Stosur & Pospisil.

A lot of bettors are riding on Pironkova's recent success but I'm not convinced. I've seen this chic played many times through the years and she is not that good on hardcourts as many believe. Sure , she had a really nice run this past month in taking the title at Sydney , however, I'm expecting her to return to the mediocre subpar form of recent years in her match with Stosur. Stosur is a savvy veteran that knows how to play well in these conditions and with a heavy home crowd backing her as well , Pironkova will be toast.

On the second match in Rod Laver arena, I'll be going with the canadian Pospisil. There's been reports that Pospisil mentioned about not being 100% healthy but I'm not buying into it. Even if he wasnt 100%, it doesnt take much to beat Ebden. I think Ebden will be physically and mentally fried from his grueling five setter with Mahut. Pospisil has a strong service game that will give him many easy points thus he wont be exerting much energy during his service. Ebden on the other hand , will have to craft out some long grueling rallies. The heavy home crowd won't be enough for Ebden, Pospisil all the way.

    Best of Luck

Stosur isn't exactly reliable in Australia, and if Pironkova plays half as well as she did throughout Sydney she will wipe the floor with the Australian tranny. That is a big if, however.

    Best of luck my man!

Yeah but I'm telling you guys, Pironkova is not that good. She'll show her true colors tonight against some stiff competition.

GL on your plays as well.

Plus I got a feeling the Australian tranny injected herself with some extra growth hormone for this tournament so she'll be pumped up for this match.

Apparently this genius doesn't as he didn't put it in his writeup.

Someone had to bring it up for him to mention it.

50-42 in Australia.. what a choker.

I didnt mention that stat because it's irrelevant to the matchup at hand. Only noobs and losing bettors like you put stock into a irrelevant stat like that.

It sure does look like Stosur isnt playing well in Australia , right ???

    Watch and learn idiot ....lol.

Yep, Stosur should have been a -250 at minimum.....books were way off on this one.

I wasnt convinced. I faded this chic several times last year and a lot of people including the books dont remember that she went on a horrible 6 straight match losing streak(lost 7 of 8 on hardcourt) late last year. She got lucky last week but I knew she was going to return to her crap form this match.

When MDF is right, it is usually a painless win. Let's see how Pospisil performs. Thanks for the pick, man.

What I was saying is she doesn't seem to perform well in Australia statistically, which is a fact. I wouldn't call it an irrelevant one by any means.

Great win for you though, congrat's!

Pospisil also wins and covers -3.5, although not as easily. Congrats MDF.

Good hit Frugal, especially parlaying them with the spread nevertheless. Fortune favored the brave tonight

Yeah I thought the spread was dead after the first two sets, but luckily Pospisil won the last set at 6-1. Feels good to win after missing Tursunov over by 0.5 games (got it at 40.5 instead of 39.5). GL on your plays MDF.
