I found 2 different reviews so far for this match.

One supporting Madison Keys:

To be honest,
I don't like the style of these players, none of them play "solid" and anyone of these players can get broken.

Now let's analyze the recent games they had.

Both of the players played against Flipkens for instance.
Barthel lost it in 2 sets.
Keys on the other hand gave a real fight and eventually lost it.

Also you see many times Barthel took 1st set and couldn't finish the match and lost in 3 sets, much more than Keys.

So I assume that is why the bookmakers hedge a bit towards Keys and not towards Barthel.

But Barthel is ranked higher and she played more tournamens, so I think if she wants to take it all the way to the end she will ...

Just important to also notice the Grass surface ... try to youtube search either one of the players with 'grass' and you won't see much, there is one video of 40 seconds of Barthel playing against Zvoraneva.

Anyway I like Madison Keys a bit better just because out of these 2 girls I think she has the final 'solid' upper play ... it could go 1st set to Barthel and then Keys takes it in 3rd, which is why the odds are high ... it's quite unpredictable but if I had to bet I would take Keys.

madison's shortening while barthel's drifting but both are big server/hitter/inconsistent so if i must bet then i'd go with the better odds.

The odds on Bet365 dropped to 1.66 on Madison Keys, the lowest against all other bookmakers!!

Why have they dropped the odds so much? Do they see Madison as a clear favourite in this match?

Two vital points.

Any one WTA player can get broken. In fact, even any ATP player can.

Bookmakers change their odds in the opposite direction money is wagered on the different outcomes in order to ensure profit. What bookmakers "think" is completely irrelevant after opening lines have been set, and has no effect whatsoever on the odds movements.

Please learn this already people. Holy shit!
