    Sydney International

Just having a look over todays matches and thought i'd make an observation

Kuznetsova plays Goerges today. Last year Kuznetsova retired due to the heat here.

Here in Sydney it is very hot. Quite a bit hotter than last year I think.

Anyway, today is actually forecast to be a lot cooler. Just 27c, somewhere in the 70s F. But the next day is is due to be well over 100F, 43c.

Cooler weather knocked my fade Kuznetsova idea on the head but think everyone should take the heat into account for tomorrow.

I've heard predictions as high as 46c/109F for Sydney tomorrow. And humidity will be very low. Real killer weather.

Does anyone spot any names that are likely to wilt in the heat on tomorrow's play list?

    Men

    Bedene - Anderson
    Lopez - Chardy
    Dimitrov - Fognini
    Robredo - Millman
    Tomic - Matosevic
    Bautista-Agut - Harrison
    Garcia-Lopez - Stepanek
    Nieminen - Phau
    Verdasco - Istomin

    Women

    Cibulkova - Makarova
    Radwanska - Date
    Jankovic - Vinci
    Li - Morita
    Kirilenko - Errani
    Wozniacki - Kuznetsova
    Voskoboeva - Kerber

Or maybe someone who should handle it better than most?

If that weather is true, I would consider fading Dimitrov. Supposed to have improved fitness - but coming off the long week in Brisbane + super hot temps ...

Bautista-Agut must be tired, the guy played 3 sets over and over. Harrison is a scrub though at certain times, but when it comes to this match you know Harrison's motivation is 110% to try to get his first win while Bautista-Agut is a ?. Harrison is also serving quite well, I'm not backing him but I sorta think he's ok for parlay material

Govt meteorologist is still saying 109F for today (3.40am here right now)

    http://www.bom.gov.au/nsw/forecasts/sydney.shtml

(although I got it wring above.. the 46c I saw forecast is actaully 114F)

It isn't just going to be your average real hot day here. Govt has been putting out warnings about staying out of it if old, look after animals and prepare for evacuation for bushfires.

Calling it potentially the most extreme heat/fire danger day in recorded Sydney history.
