Originally, I was set to use Delpo in futures plays - but his quotes after whipping Falla indicate that he is feeling the miles over the past few weeks from winning successive, back-2-back tournaments.
With that in mind, let's see today's opponent.
LLODRA +325/+3.5 [-110]
This will be their 4th meeting in 2012. Twice on indoor courts, Delpo won out. 6-4, 6-4 in Marseille after beating him in three sets the week prior in Rotterdam. The third meeting was on clay in Rome where Llodra took a set before losing in three. All were pretty tight wih the main issue for Llodra being a lack of ability in getting any break opps on Delpo's serve on the indoor courts. Llodra's serve has been unbreakable so far this week, so that should give him a chance to keep the sets tight. Nothing definite about this, but Del Potro's motivation is the issue to think about here. Would he rather go for it at this Masters Event and maybe win a third straight title ... or rest up for the big one at the end of the year with the Tour Finals? Your call. Del Potro could certainly win this tournament if his legs hold up, especially given Djokovic is out of his half of the draw now. All things to consider with whatever you choose to do with the info provide.
