    Fish is boom or bust for me this week. This is the tougher match-up if Lopez starts with a solid serve and keeps the sets tight. If Fish survives today, he should make the quarters. Desire always a little question with the Flodonis from week to week, but I do like that he wisely skipped Toronto to rest after Olympic play.

    I am a glutton for punishment. This is part of the theory I use on Tomic though that makes low chalk plays like this worth a roll to me. When guys have not faced his slicey, junkball game - I think they can struggle to adjust whereas Tomic knows he's going to face another aggressive player in Baker. This has the smell of immediate regret, but I train wreck on.

    Lopez is playing like crap. His serve looks weak as hell today. That's his only weapon cus his groundstrokes were always his weak spot. He's been like this for the last 6 months. Maybe on a downward spiral, his career is winding down.

    Six months? You underestimate Lopez. He's been mainly big serve and not muc else for a couple years. Problem is he shows up now and again like @ Wimbledon last ywar and in an odd tourney or tw elsewhere that makes you think he can compete. I still think most of his play is purely lack of desire. Once things roll downhill, he isn't much of a fighter. But hey, I will take a split on the dogs with Bogo winning. First time in a long time that I did not get buried when I liked three dogs or more, probabpy helped getting Baggy cancelled. Need Raonic to finish a good day.

    If Istomin is too chalky, a parlay with Hewitt looks nice. Hewitt carried his form over to this surface and Troicki was not overly impressive against Dodig.

    i watched troicki's last game, he only made it thru because dodig was god awful. Troickis return game was very poor, if he trie to keep up with hewitts return gme he wll get buried
