Very solid on clay when his mindset is sharp. He definitely has the physical talents for a good clay courter.

Yea I was rooting for Wawrinka but Simon's game looks really nice out there, I hope either of these guys can beat Tsonga

Really hope he doesn't choke the match away but I feel a break for Wawrinka coming up here.

If it goes to 5, which it likely will, it'll be a total shitshow.

Well he just choked away the match being up a break. Line calls are bugging the shit out of him and now Wawa carries all the momentum into the 5th

That should have been easy win in set 4 for Simon, he had amazing chance to make it 4-1, but blew it and now I think it is game over... nice job Gilles.

Trust me. He did this in last 2 sets he fell behind and then rallied for the win. Hes playing the better of the 2 in my eyes.

He had that set to play with. Yes it is worry some that he was in control then just fell the f*ck off. But this 5th set he will focus and bring it home. It may end up being ugly but i think Simon will pull threw. Dont jump ship just yet. Remember both guys have chocked chances away. Have faith Simon will pull threw. He better i got $500 on him @-145.

Typical match where neither guy makes it easy on himself ... Wawrinka and Simon love to give bettors ulcers and migraines.

That is exactly why I rarely bet on Wawa matches anymore. And Simon has a beautiful game. Anyone who plays a higher level of tennis should appreciate this. Without question. Fifth set looks tight!! Good luck T!!!

Simon was ROLLING. Up 2 sets to 1, 3-1 and 30-40 on Wawa's serve. Then proceeds to lose 5 straight games and gets broken in the 5th.

I bet Djokovic is pissed at Simon for not closing this out in the fourth. Now he and Azarenka are both looking at having to play tomorrow, unless Djoker can beat Devilder in about 75-90 minutes.

Still playimg close. I think if Simon can get a lead Wawa will crumble and Simon will close like he did in 2-3. I think in the 4th Simon said to himself he was gonna conserve his energy and make WaWa work hard hoping fatigue would set in for the 5th. Simon had that set to play with i think he wanted to win it dont get me wrong but i think since he was up his main goal was to wear Wawa out and if simon could win great but if not atleast he would soften Wawa up so he could get him in the 5th

the strange thing is that Wawrinka looks a lot better in the 5th set...

No. You never let up on your opponent in order to soften him up for later. You step on his throat. That was just a bone-fide choke job by Simon.

God damit!!! I was trying to stay possitve but this joker blew it he had him dead to rights up 2sets to 1set and 3-1 in the 4th and choked it WTF how cant this happen he only needed 3 games. Well i can admit i was wrong. I just had to stay possitve and couldnt really believe it was possible to lose there. Wow how could he lose that i would have said it was impossible. Biggest choke job ever
