    What exactly happens when one experiences this dreaded 'delay'?

    Ok thanks. Now this is different than when you get up the wager confirmation screen and it says one or more lines have changed, right?

    Correct, although if you're on a delay, that screen may well pop-up once the delay has elapsed.

    Ok thanks for your help. I guess it's a badge of honor in a way if that happens to you. Many find it hard to sympathize with those who are shunned by books.

    That's just the point. You must not be a US player. Guys here who play recreationally (and let's say I know many) are absolutely blown away at the idea that a bookie would turn down ANYONES post up action!

    I think it's more often that they will put you on delay if you bet steam or moving lines.
