    BetOnline New Site Problems

    Fellas,
Anybody having some problems at the "new" BetOnline? Sometimes it will just log you out or say your session is expired?

I think the new site is generally less reliable than the old one. I wish they would go back to it.

Worse than usual today, but always bad. You will be sitting for a moment on a page then it rolls you to logged out page and asks for you to log in again. You can be placing a wager and this happens--it is just crazy. All started with the "new" software upgrade--dudes, go back to the old stuff and get Moneybookers.

At least pretend to be trying to reach A book status!!

Forgot abt this great window that pops up when you least expect it:

Session has expired or cookies are disabled!
Either your session has timed out, you entered an invalid page directly, or "cookies" are not turned on in your browser. First, try and login again and if you receive this message again, follow the directions below to activate "cookies" in your browser

I was having the same problems, sometimes i have to click log in two or three times before it will finally log me in, it times out quicker than i can make a wager, and logs me out randomly. I would call customer service but i'm sure they'd have no clue what is going on just like usual.

YES! Lol glad it's not just me. Sometimes I have to enter my password 4 times before I can get to where I want to be. There are times where I can idle for 10 minutes, and there are other times where god forbid I idle for 45 seconds, I get timed out.

Appreciate u lookin into this big boy. I knew it couldn't just be me. AND, this problem has been getting worse. It started with the software change--but it has just gone off the charts in the last few days.

Thanks guys!! I was beginning to think something was wrong with me--I had a virus or something. I can hang on to this comp for a while longer.

I'm also having problems with the site. Honest communication goes a long way. I am assuming they are working on the problem. But a comment from management would be very appreciated.

    Exactly what happens to me.

And I also have to relog in 90% of the time after every bet I place.

I get that same damn message that Katstale wrote 1 second after i make a bet.

Today is the worst day ever for problems with the website.

It takes me 5 minutes to log in and 5 seconds to time out.

They are already losing a lot of action and will lose a ton more if they don't fix this soon.

New ware is disappointing to me, too. Experiencing the same as everyone else.

It seems to be a bit better on Internet Explorer.

Even when normal, they time out way tooooooo quickly. Very annoying. BETJ times out way too quickly, also. I never could understand this. I mean, you want people to bet, right ?? OK, I'll offer them some info: it's difficult to wager when you are timed out.

I like to use them, but lately it's been a joke. I even gave them a share of my third place vote for favorite book.

Don't let them play you like that BBD!! lolol

Open up a can of whoop a.....

I think Friday was the crappy software and technical issues combined.

The technical issues seem to be fixed but its the same old crappy software that times you out after most wagers.

It is still a royal pain. Sit on the wagers page for 60-90 seconds and look up and get this:

Session expired cookies, blah blah blah

They need to take some of the salary from the cold callers and invest in some tech folks. I can't even imagine how painful this will be for weekend football. Might just not bother.

It's like the software just goes where it wants.

session has expired cookies are not on--we need cookies!!

Just thought I would put this up again, since this is what I see most at BOL these days.

Especially right after a wager, BUT this can pop up at any time. BBD--these guys are ignoring us. Isn't that a BOL ad at the top of the page?? Is that click thru money or paid advertising. Pull that banner until they fix the software. This is ridiculous.

Session has expired or cookies are disabled!

Yeah, it's bad. I get used to typing in my password 3 or 4 times before I can do anything. If I plan on spending more than 8 minutes on the site, I'll type in my password a couple more times.

    Hi fellas,
Man I have had with this place. Their site problems are just too much to take. Can't even login this afternoon, it just says "You are not logged in" after entering my stuff. It has been like this since their "new" software roll out - a complete screw-up. The worst part is, there's not much new about the software, same old betting pages, just some fancy frames around it.

This has got to be hurting them in bottom line, I can't imagine they get anywhere near normal action with these problems. How can a place be "A" rated with these kind of support issues, and I am sure they arent making as much money with the problems.

Couldn't hurt, but it wont fix the problem with it not logging in until the 3rd try. Is it really that much to ask that an A rated book have software that works properly?

BBD, the first step it seems is to get them to admit they have a serious problem. Like many books, they want to act like nothing is wrong. They are even instructing cs clerks to say they are not aware of any problems.

Man, that is just BS. Show a little class BOl and come on here and say "yes, we have a problem and we actually have people trying to fix it!! Por favor, have some patience with us longsuffering loyal players!?"

Oh yea, and then get some ewallets.

But, first fix the software. I sometimes wonder if any of these clowns that run these places ever spent one day in a business management class.

I forgot, 105 lines trumps customer service!!!

I to have the same problem. I just kinda figured it was due to my internet browser being old. Its nice to know others have the same problem. I have noticed it is even worse now with their new software, which sucks.

Here is a non-technical problem I've encountered. This might be reason to downgrade BetOnline to a C+.

They process payouts from 9am to 1pm. This morning I contacted them asking about making a withdrawal. They change the withdrawal minimums and maximums on a daily basis. Some days it's $900 max, and other days it's $1,000 minimum.

You can make these types of withdrawals for any amount between $100 and $2,000, but it might not always be available the same day. If you request a withdrawal with their primary "processor" before noon EST, then you'll get your money the same day. That's what encouraged me to sign up for a bet online account. Otherwise, if your withdrawal doesn't fit that day's criteria, it may take up to 24 hours.

Those are the rules, and I knew those ahead of time. I called this morning to make a withdrawal that fit today's criteria. I double checked with two people that this was the case, and I had my request submitted to fit the criteria.

They apparently called my house to tell me that my withdrawal had been canceled, but I wasn't home. I found out that there was a problem when I tried to log into my account. I called them, and I was told that the payment was canceled because ... well just because their processor didn't feel like it. I tried to brown nose the customer service rep by saying that BetOnline is such a great book, and I never expect them to do these shady things. I didn't get a straight answer, and this flat out bothers me. I adjusted my withdrawal amount just to satisfy them, and I got screwed.

I'm going to see what more I can find out.

Has anyone else noticed how live chat is starting to suck balls everywhere? You ask a question, it takes them 5 minutes to respond with a one sentence response. I didn't get anywhere on live chat. The only reason I got for the cancellation was that their processor implemented a different rule for that day some time between 10am and 1pm.

Sigh... I'll get my money tomorrow. Yeah - one of their processors crapped out. Thankfully it's not a big deal because I don't really need the money until tomorrow anyway.

Could we maybe get SBR to have BetOnline management comment on these issues?

Football pre-season is already here, and regular season is around the corner. Would be nice to have some kind of response before players make their deposits (elsewhere if necessary) for football season.

    Ok Gentlemen,

I just received word back from BetOnline regarding these particular issues you were all having. Below is what there official response was on this subject as well as them notifying me that this problem has been rectified.

Please advise all posters that the web site issue has been fixed! A permanent solution was successfully launched on Tuesday of this week. If anyone does experience any further inconveniences please advise immediately, however I believe our clients can rest assured that this was an isolated incident.

It was only a small percentage of our clients that were affected by this and we did handle the situation as a code red with the up most importance. Unfortunately the problem originated with one of our third party providers and rather than allowing them to launch a possible immediate temporary fix; we asked them to provide a stable and permanent solution.
Please let me know if you encounter these problems from here on out, and I will contact them for further assistance on this matter.
