Hate to side with the book every time, but I don't know if that much of a downgrade is warranted. If I'm the book, I'm pretty pissed off at these players. Now, they probably don't have any grounds not to pay, but still.. players like that would bug the crap out of me.
Pissed off over what? Marketing a deposit bonus and then having players deposit to get that bonus? Offering semi-reasonable lines and having players bet them? I'm sure every shop would love to have every customer be one who will never withdraw and who will keep betting the worst lines on the board until he goes busto.. repeatedly. Not meeting the target player type is hardly grounds for voiding legitimate winning bets. I mean seriously, there's absolutely zero valid defense here... there isn't even a first step towards a valid defense here. It's really worse than the sportsbook.com correlated parlay thefts (other than the scale, obviously), and I hope they get a D- to reflect that.
Now, I’m assuming that Betway states their bonuses are for non-professional players right? If not, you’re right there is no case. But if it does state that, I think there is at least the start of one. The players may not be professionals, but they’re using a professional system aimed at abusing the bonus’.
Now, the whole recreational/professional thing is total bullshit in general, but books still do use those stipulations.
