    Brobury sports in scam behaviour

Signed up last week for brobury and deposited $1000 for a $500 bonus. Placed $1300 worth of bets all which lost. Went into my account yesterday to wager my last $200 and try to win some cash back. I received the message my account was disabled and management wouldnt discuss why with me. I have spoke to live chat and management on numerous occasions since and explained I wouldn't have deposited at brobury had I known they wouldn't let me finish betting with the bonus money. They enticed me in with an offer, waited till my bets lost then closed my account with no explanation. They have admitted they are in the wrong but will not refund any of my money.

Let this be a warning to any player thinking of depositing or currently in there to withdraw/don't deposit money. They are lying on live chat and exhibiting all the signs of a scam sportsbook. It looks like the SBR rating was too high after all and things were too good to be true.

There has to be more to this story. Why aren't they letting you lose your last $200? What are they sayiing to you?

PS Fill out a complaint form. Brobury is rated B- because they are one of the few Jazette Books that will work with SBR to resolve matters fairly.

They wont say anything. Wont even discuss it with me:

"Alex Sanders: Unfortunately, your account has been disabled for security and verification purposes. I don't have any details other than this was a decision taken at Management level. Regrettably, we will be unable to enter into further correspondence pertaining to this matter."

"John Davis: Your account has been closed since management decided not to offer you our services. It is stated on our house rules: BroburySports.com reserves the right to revoke the agreement between the member and BroburySports.com."

What do they want to do with your remaining $200 then? When the did this to me, they transfered me to another sportsbook affiliate and told me to quit messing around lol.

    So file an SBR complaint.

You should at worst get your $200 back.

They can close accounts at will, but the question is if the last $200 should be returned to you or not. Fill a complain, SBR might be able to help you.

Must be more to the story, I got the same bonus doubled my money and got paid within 24 hours. I had absolutely no problem with them.

If you use Brodbury50, you get a 50% bonus, and the rollover is only 10 X the deposit not the deposit + bonus.
He is not telling the whole story since they came on board with SBR, they have been fine.

I am telling you exactly the full story. What reason would I have for not?
Just because you had a good experience doesn't mean everyone will have. What I put on this thread is the entire truth and I have all the livechat logs/emails to prove it.

Ok you know best. I bow down to your far superior knowledge.

Why do you think i'm raising a SBR complaint and alerting people to the fact on here. Its shady behaviour at best by Brobury and they have given NO reason why they have done it. I was SBR to get to the bottom of it and let other posters know now might not be a great time to sign up..

    YW Adam.

Do you know Brobury is part of a large group aka "Jazzette"? They claim to be separate books when it suits them, i.e you are losing. But they become a group of which you are only allowed to play at one of when it suits them, i.e you are winning.

This is known in the trade as "having your cake and eat it too."

Anyone tells you Brobury is different, I can tell you from personal experience they are not.

Brobury may be using mpsnare. It is possible that you are a multi-accounter and did not consider that.

signed up the other day, deposit $1000 gt $250 added (25% bonus) to my account straight away,, made 4 bets for the total balance (4 soft lines) on same day,,nex day couldnt open account,,contacted them was told account would be permantly closed down,,they were showing me the door,, asked would my balance be sent to me after my last pending bet was graded, was told thats correct,,,next thing gt some money sent to my mb account them, i thought thats funny still gt one bet pending, they hadnt played yet,,so contacted them and they said i didnt have no bets pending in my account,so i assumed they must of decided to cancell my last last pending bet,,
the money they sent me was exactly correect what it should of been after working out the graded bets and the casncelled bet, but minus $50,,i asked the cs if the charged for payments but he replied he didnt work in that department..
they showed me the door,,but sent me the money quickly minus $50,,so only made $200 bonus money for a nights work,,so cant really complain

Ok I guess we will see what happens but if you guys get a bonus you have to know that most books don;t like it when you go all in the first day, and bet 50% of yourn deposit each time.. They are giving you a bonus so you will give them some action.
Especially a book like Brodbury its a B-, lets let Justin get to the bottom of this.
I do agree they should not close your account just for betting a lot.If thats how they feel than they should put limits on the bets during the rollover period. There is nothing in their rules that limits the bets.

But sometimes common sense is in order

I had exactly the same problem with Linesmaker (also Jazette book). Deposited 300$ received 150$ bonus, next day I get an email that my account is closed

"Unfortunately, your account has been disabled for security and verification purposes. We cannot disclose any details, other than this was a decision taken at Management level. Regrettably, we will be unable to enter into further correspondence pertaining to this matter. "

Didn't placed any bets, all my info was correct, my neteller is verified and never had a problem with pinnacle and betfair. I even told them that I would sent any documents to verify my details but they didn't want to enter into further correspondence and always copy pasted the same terms...

Similar tale here. On 31st October, had a balance of $3500, placed a bet of $2000 and went to bed.

Woke up to find my account closed and $3000 being sent back to me. Winning bet of $2000 @ 2.75 was voided.

    Complaint filed.

It seems weird, all these posters complaining have combined less than 100 posts. On Brobury web site it says

If a member wagers both sides of a game using a promotional bet (to bet at the same time on the favorite and the underdog) or using bonus money, BroburySports.com considers that to be fraudulent behavior. This includes making bets of this nature in two or more of our affiliated websites.Any money won playing both sides of the game will be deducted, together with any other promotional money deposited in the member's account.

UK based bettor here. Had my account closed by Brobury. Had a zero balance and so not out of pocket (signed up via covers.com for the $500 bonus). Livechatted them to ask what I had done wrong; they said they wouldn't give out any information regarding the account closure. I asked for management's email address. CS said management do not use email and refused to discuss the matter further, despite my questions.

It's clear that CS know nothing and that it's an arbitrary decision that has been taken by Brobury. CS is handled by a central company, who do not have any affiliation in particular with Brobury, so getting information from them is like getting blood from a stone. The "About Us" section of the site makes for amusing reading in light of the behaviour of the book over the past few days. B- is a preposterous rating for a site with such pathetic customer service.

I sincerely hope those of you who have lost money to these crooks get it back. As for all of the people spouting off about multiple accounts etc, you should be a bit more sympathetic. I, like the others, have/had ONE account with Brobury and have not got accounts with any other book in the Jazette group. At the moment, this looks like straight up theft to me.

There is no theft because the poster did not complete his rolover, he wagered $1300 and his rollover was $10,000. What they did do according to him is close his account, but the last $200 he talks about was not his anyway.

So he loses $1,000 of his own money after depositing for a $500 bonus and they then close the account without giving him the chance to win anything back. They provide no explanation and refuse to answer questions. And you think that this is okay?

What about chipdiddychip's incident, where a $2,000 bet @ 2.75 was voided and his account closed without explanation? Would you consider this as theft?
