Here is a little info on Wauwbet

Somebody asked me about a sportsbook called Wauwbet. Anyways, I thought I'd share a few of my finding about them and hopefully you gentlemen will as well.

Wauwbet was opened in July, 2007 and is owned and operated by Wauw Gaming Malta Ltd. Licensed in Malta (www.lga.org.mt), this company offers a variety of gaming (sports wagering, poker, and casino) betting options.

Their soccer odds seemed to be ok in a few leagues and pledge never to go below 94% pay back on The Premiere League, Champions League and the Danish Superliga.

Anyone ever played with this book and if so, I'd sure like to hear your experiences with them.

I have been with them for a while. For an european book, they offer very high oddsand a good customer service. No cancellation of bets so far. I don´t know anything about their payouts cause I lose my bets.

Thanks for the feedback fellas, Tis appreciated

MoonBeam, Thats actually good to know that they never canceled any of your wagers. However, It sucks that suck you haven't received a payout at all.

Vanman, I did read about that bonus offer they had and you were right. They did get hammered with it during that time frame.

Surely an SBR reader has had some type of payout experiences with them. If so I'd like to hear about it, because I just now read something where somebody is having some issues on that front at this time. Although I'm not sure what the hold up could be (probably a verification thing IMO).

I have account there, Ive never had a problem with them and they have very high limits. You can place 5,000 euros a day on bets. I have had 1 withdrawal of 6,000 euros which after sending my ID documents which is standard i received my funds 3 days later via moneybookers. They offer new customers a 100% deposit bonus up to 100 euros. They also have on the cashier page just how much needs to be wagered before you can withdraw that bonus. They dont take singles on every league they offer but thats not a problem. For a european book they are in my opinion one of the best, they havent cut my limits yet which other books would have done by now.

Ive only made 1 withdrawal since opening my account. They offer 1 free withdrawal every 30 days so im waiting 30 days till i next withdraw. I dont know the fees for extra withdrawals in that period.
I made a withdrawal, the next day they asked for my documents, i sent them the day after and i got my money 3 days later.
I will keep you updated on my next withdrawal.

    Hey Moonbeam,

FWIW: Not sure if the poster is a shill or not, however I just read on another forum where a poster received a payment from them in 4 days. Anyways, I'm just passing along what I heard is all.

    2. A scanned copy of aninvoice (not older than 2 months) stating your name and address.

    3. A scanned copy of both sides of your credit card.

    4. A scanned copy of a photo of of you holding the credit card close to your face.

We will open your account a soon as we receive this information. This precaution is taken for the safety of everybody.

Furthermore we'd like to stress that if we don't receive said documentation before the starting time of the event on which you've placed a bet we'll void the bet according to our T&C 6.3.1.11.

You've placed bets on the match AGF vs. AC Horsens starting 19:00 CET Monday July 28th. These bets will be voided if documentation is not received in due time.

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

    Best regards,

    Lars

    Wauw Gaming Support Team
First of all the address where I am officially registered belongs to my parents, so I do have the address on my ID card, but no invoice. Second asking me to make a photo of my (ugly) face with my credit card is outrageous, so I will simply not do that. And third, last but not least, they have now given themselves an opportunity to cancel my bet (after the event) as it pleases them claiming the documents not being ok.

    STAY AWAY!

The good news is that the bet would have lost and they say that they will return my funds.

I really cant fault this book. Every time ive made a withdrawal via Moneybookers its been in there the next day. There fees for withdrawing in the same month are peanuts.

Although Lars sent me a email 2 days ago saying the manager has requested that my limit should to be lowered to 500 Euros a game but i still can wager 5,000 Euros a day but not all on one game now

As it should be, Out of business:

    Dear Wauw user,

For a while we’ve known that we’d need more invested capital into our company in order to reach Break Even on our current activities. Unfortunately we haven’t succeeded in raising the necessary investor capital, and thus we’ve decided to close down our business.

The total amount due to our customers, meaning also your balance/funds if relevant, are to a large extend secured via the demand by the Maltese Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LGA) for separation of company funds and customer/user funds. Some of these funds are kept as reserves at 3rd parties for up to 9 months though and thus we’re not able to pay everybody’s full balance straight away.

We’ll cooperate fully with the LGA in order to try and find a solution securing that everybody will have their funds paid as soon as possible. We’ll give further information on the homepage and by email when relevant.

We’re very sorry for the inconveniences brought on you by this, but hope you’ll understand that we’re doing everything possible in order to try and satisfy all involved parties in this difficult situation.

    Kind regards,
    Wauw Gaming
