Please...not BetRomania on the front page!

First time I looked at it I thought it was BetMania...these freeplay dramas are not worthy of front page status no matter how slow a day it is...whatever happened to betpoland btw?

Haha, been getting lots of spam from these guys. From Betrussia initially, now Betportugal. 200% deposit bonus, not to mention 200% reload bonuses sounds too good to be true. Even if they pay initially, it just reeks of Ponzi scheme.

Got that too. Wonder which book sold my info. I think BetRussia is pitching itself as an impartial blog, offering tips, recommending sportsbooks, etc. Only problem is that the only book they're recommending is BetPortugal, which raises the strong suspicion they're connected. I have a feeling BetRomania is also part of the same group. I can't find clear evidence of that, though admittedly I didn't look for long, just smells similar.

Re the 200% bonus at BetPortugal, at least it's only the first deposit and one reload. If it were every reload, then it would smack of BetOT, the most recent obvious CR-based ponzi that I can think of, and we all saw how that ended... there would have been a lot of tears without the BetPhoenix bailout. So there may be hope for BetPortugal, etc. if we see them changing their model as they get a few clients.

Had a look at that BetRomania complaint too and, unless the book changed the rules since the player deposited, the $50 free was never really free... their website makes it sound like a 100% deposit match (despite using the word "free"). So I'm not sure how the player got the $50 credited in the first place.

Perhaps SBR should pay a visit to the BetPortugal address in CR, and then we can see if it's a genuine new sportsbook "innocently" spamming or something else?
