So I open an account with The Greek today, figured it was time to load up an offshore for the football season. I load up $210 bucks.

I make a couple of plays, lose a $5 dollar parlay, Lose the Over on the Cubs Game, and Win the Team total Over 18 for the steelers game tonight.

I come on to check my account balance figuring that I came out about 3 bucks in the green for the night, and it says that I am -8,729.
I look at my Account history and it says:

8/14 2:28p Transfer Debit -8,986.00

I have no idea what this means. I feel like I got pretty screwed on this one guys, anyone ever have shady dealings with the Greek, I have heard nothing but great stuff.

I call them up and they say that the guy that deals with stuff like this is out and he will not be back until tomorrow.

They fixed my account. I now have the money, and the graded wagers for last night. When I asked what the problem was, or how it could have been so terribly wrong, she said that it was just an error in data entry. I am not sure I am 100% satisfied. If I ran a book and made that big of a mistake I would give something , like a $25 dollar free play as an apology for having to waste so much time and make so many calls. I didn't ask for one or anything, and didn't expect one, I am also not a high roller by any means, so I am sure that they could give or take my business without a blink of an eye.

All in all the customer service was pretty good, I had a bit of trouble understanding the lady and when I spoke there was an echo that kind of threw me off. But now I am nitpicking.

Important thing is that I have my money, my account is secure and they apologized for making an error. There are many books out there that would be worse.

I seem to have problems like this a lot. When I tried to put more money back into my BookMaker account at the beginning of baseball season, they said that I owed them 2,400 dollars from a bad check. I said that was impossible since I have never deposited with a check in my life. They took a full business day to get back to me and tell me that it was a mistake and that some guy with the same name as me had stiffed them. I do not use them anymore because when I inquired about it the guy took kind of an aggressive tone with me as if he had proof that I was the stiff. He stopped short of threatening me, but was pretty hostile. I still get heated every time I get a cold call from them because it reminds me of the whole ordeal.

I will post again if the Greek gives me any more issues.

Greek is the best IMO.
Only issue I ever had was not having been informed that there was a 4x roll on transfers from Matchbook [and I had transferred a ton from there]. No CS person told me, and its no where on their site. I had assumed a 2x roll.

Sounds like somebody just mistyped an account number, though you'd think having an account -8k might raise some red flags.

yeah it is pretty common , I think i saw where it was top 20 for the world.

On a positive point I have never had wins graded so quickly. Just to test I refreshed like 1 minute after the end of the game and it had already graded.

they will give you no trouble. samethng happen to me at bejam once fixed it quickly in a couple mins

This kind of stuff has happened at bank accounts at legit American banks (happened to me a few years ago, they accidentally debited 3k from my bank account), it's nothing to worry about as long as they fix it.
