    Opening a Canadian bank account.

Would appreciate recommendations of the best bank(s) in Canada, as far as being "sportsbettor friendly".

Bank(s) with credit/debit cards which can be used for depositing into sportsbooks.

No problems doing bank transfers to sportsbooks, cashing sportsbook checks, etc.

If this is too sensitive, please pm me.

rbc (VC ************ will work for depositing), bank wires work, only gripe is they charge service fees on pretty much everything

pc finacial- is a online bank thats connected to cibc... decent interest on saving accounts, unlimited cheqing transactions and there VC will work... you'll have to do bank wires over the phone which can cause a hassle

whatever you do dont bother with mastercards and scotia and td bank (horrible service and WILL deny most gambling transactions including moneybookers)

    best of luck bud

From a MoneyBookers perspective, I've had no problems at all with TD as well, for several years now covering 50+ Moneybookers withdrawals (Bankwires and checks).

Scotiabank on the other hand was the reason I transferred my accounts to TD, as a Scotia representative told me outright that they would not process Moneybookers transactions at all...

I have no trouble with CIBC. They don't mind me using ************ for gambling, or getting/sending bank wires.

Has anyone ever used a bank's debit card to deposit into an offshore book?

Or do the books only accept a bank issued credit card?
