Bookmaker giving a TON of trouble when trying to withdraw

Hey everyone, I signed up for bookmaker to do my betting based almost exclusively on its' high rating from this site. I assumed I was going to be dealing with a reliable and trustworthy sportsbook.

Everything went great until the oter day when I tried to withdraw my money. Now, I've been..

a.) told I could expect my money via ** in 5-7 days.

b.) When I called for the confirmation # 5 days later, was told I needed to authorize my credit card

c.) When I tried to do it over the phone, was told I couldn't be found in the system so I had to fill out some forms and fax them in along with photocopies of my license and credit card. Also had to trace over my card with a pencil...

d.) Faxes were crystal clear and sent via fedex, but when I called to check on the authorization status, was told they couldn't read them and perhaps I should take pictures and send them via e-mail instead.

e.) Called to speak with a manager, was told 3 times they'd be back in 15 minutes, only to be told none were there each time.

It's all getting a little ridiculous, and pretty clear they're just going to jerk me around hoping I'll eventually give up trying to get my money.

My questions are, has anyone had similar experiences? Does anyone have any solutions? And why is bookmaker given such a high review here if this is the manner in which they conduct business?

I don't think I have come across a complaint about BM yet, they seem to be solid so I am surprised that you are having so much difficulty getting a withdraw.

As for a solution, fill out a complaint form here at SBR, and I'm sure they will get things sorted out for you.

From my experiences, the smoothest way to deal with I.D. issues is to make digital copies and then send via email. Have you tried that?

ohguy3, it's all about the dollars. They do heavy advertising with SBR so they get a good rating.

The first withdrawal for a new player can be complicated at all sportsbooks. Justin7 gave good advice. Once you have a digital copy of your ID and credit card handy it's pretty smooth and you'll be set at the book after the first w/d.

I've never heard of anyone having problems with Bookmaker. If you request a check, it will be at your door within 3-4 days. They are the biggest book in the world. If they go down, the industry is over. And that isn't going to happen. Rest assured, you'll get your money.

Been thru that crap before-next time send all the info. required to make a withdraw before you make a deposit. Ask the book to cover the fees for the faxes-etc, Bet they would get it straight the 1st time. You might try W Union next time and explain you wish to avoid a delayed payout. Still no reason for an A book to lie to you-or anyone else for that matter. No integrity at all. Do my serious buss. in Nevada.

BM is an A+ book according to any rating. I like how people pull that advertising line about any and every book they don't personally like.

right, if only bookmaker can be ranked on par w/ wagerweb and steal players' funds. that'll make them into your million dollar affiliation rotation lol..

c.) filling out forms for credit card authorization is standard w/ any book

d.) i don't understand this, how can you be certain a fax is crystal clear just b/c you faxed it at a fedex machine?

in any case, bookmaker won't steal your money. emailing is generally your best option, and expect run-around w/ any book when you're depositing via ccard, so far this year i had to deal w/ a similar circumstance w/: betonline, bet phoenix, betus, and sports interaction. all of them eventually went through but yes for each book i had to run around several days even when sending it via email.

so to answer your question, yes it's like this w/ any book should you deposit via credit card
