I have nothing against Richard . Even if the guy worked for scam book doesn't mean he was involved .
I was reading about Cascade scam . I am not sure if it's same Richard .
    Some really really scary shit

777Rock (SBR rating B) move to Cascade (SBR rating A-) office complete. Cascade ownership tells SBR that 777 will change from -107 to -105 pricing. betcascade Management has hired Richard Jones, formerly Customer Service Manger of Royal Sports (BetRoyal), to assist with managing new brands. A deal to add Dimeplayer (SBR rating B-) has also been completed although software compatibility issues have delayed the server change.
The troubled book has paid just over $22,000 in 11 months to some of the 72 SBR readers that have filed a complaint. The total player debt reported to SBR is nearly 1.3 million.

At some point Cascade was rated "A-" book .
Most of my funds are with UK books, betfair and pinny . Greek and 5dimes for US books. So my advice set your own limits on how much you wanna keep with B and C rated books .

    Cheers.

Richard was there before during and for some time after the Casacde theft. Besides him giving me false information about the book when I deposited (which I later learned they were already no-paying people). For several months after they stopped paying Richard was the person you were transferred to when you complained when not receiving your payout. He gave the"we are having problems with our processor" BS story. It is easy to not have a problem with him if your postup and winnings were not stolen, but for those whose money was stolen from them, it is a different story.

I got stung at Cascade too, but really, what is a CS guy supposed to do? Tell you "Lenny's decided to party the next 12 months with your money" ??

A guy might not like working for the scum bag Lenny, but how do you pay your bills until you have secured an out?

Richard telling people BetCascade was fine and accepting deposits with open arms when he knew you would never see your money is very troubling. I don't care if he just worked there. Kind of like the get away driver in a bank heist.

Let's air this out. When did Richard tell you this?

Richard made arrangements to have Cascade sold, and the players would have been paid at that point. Lenny said no. Richard left shortly thereafter, and he was stiffed. Despite his association with Cascade, I don't see anything that taints his character. But if there is more, let's get it out in the open.

Justin - Cascade stopped paying people in JAN/FEb 2007 - I can bump a thread on this very forum with Richard coming on and promising a poster he will be paid in May 2007. You may personally like the guy he may have been in a tough situation but he was not truthful.

Standard. I stopped even attempting to get down with them online after they began moving everything against me on delay, mainly all numbers at market or worse. Love the ownership here but I'm mystified by the absolute buffoons they've chosen to run their stage. Having had conversations with most of the line managers over a variety of issues, I seriously question whether any of them are qualified to write tickets, let alone manage risk for a major operation.

Not sure abt the venom directed at Justin's comment? If u have something specific to say concerning his take--you ought to include that. I do not remember the exact timetable of Richard's leaving Cascade, but i do remember he was the only person you could talk to that made any sense EVER. As soon as he was gone and they sent you to that weasel Lenny--you knew for sure you were screwed.

If Justin is accurate and Richard was stiffed along with everyone else.... I can appreciate Richard a little more.

I talked to Richard through at least the August/Sept 2007 timeframe, after he assured me they were a top flight book in March 2007. He always assured me I would be paid. In about Sept I was then told I need to talk to Lenny, not sure if that meant Richard left or was no longer talking to clients. Bottom line Richard misled and lied to myself as well as posting on this forum. Not really sure how Richard was "stiffed" Did he have a stake in the profits of Cascade? Which is even worse. Did he not get paid salary - maning he did this for free - probably meaning he wanted to be part of Lennys long term plan. Either way we will never know for sure. It is debateable the size of his role in the largest or one of the largest thefts in this Industry. But there is no doubt he did have a role. I hope he regrets his time there and if in a similiar situation would chose a different course of action.

BMR has an excellent quote about these guys. Its to the effect that they're just salesmen. Nothing more or less.
