    Bet105 shutting down?

Got this email from customer service this morning after waking up to my account being closed:

We do apologize for the confusion and lack of communication in this case. We must to inform you that Management has decided to not take any more reloads from active accounts and no more new sign ups. Due to this, once your account reached a zero balance, it was automatically closed.

Please rest assured that your payment has now been processed.

We appreciate your understanding and wish you the best.

    Sincerely,

    Bet105 Support Team

So they are going to continue servicing accounts that are winning but decline to take reloads or new accounts to provide new cash.

I commend them for being honorable and continuing to pay out. However the decisions they have made the past couple of years are head scratching to say the least.

FWIW, I just contacted Bet105 via chat and was told that indeed there are no more new sign ups and that the no reloads are from INACTIVE accounts (despite what the OP's email noted). Moreover, the chat rep pointed out that this policy has been in place for quite a while and does not represent any change in policy.

Consequently, I don't think that their demise is imminent.

Yet another red flag from this group

Read this thread https://www.sportsbookreview.com/for...-my-money.html and this thread https://www.sportsbookreview.com/for...my-family.html if you are unaware how badly this group has fallen.

As they reduce withdrawal limits, come up with unfair confiscation decisions across all books associated with the brand and make it harder to withdraw as well, make sure you are not one of the people who are going to get caught with large balances and unable to get it out in time.

Have no idea what their standards are for inactive accounts, but I was depositing every 2-3 months, bet futures regularly, and bet plenty of other stuff off and on throughout the year. Guessing when I requested the payout they looked at my +/- and decided I was "inactive." Also never got any kind of warning about my account being inactive from them at all.

Not a huge deal as it was mainly a hedge book but I did like having the -105 line.
