Received this note from Sporstbook Manager at Fanduel Part #1

My apologies for the delay in getting back to you. It appears that I owe you an apology as well. I did not realize that you had $100 in bonus play already, that was used for the $100 wager. So even though, technically ti was after your first deposit, it wasn't with your deposited funds.

I believe you will get your $1000 credit. Once the issue is finished being reviewed, your credits will applied accordingly. I apologize again for this mix up. I appreciate your patience while we figured this out for you.

My response to Sportsbook Management at Fanduel /Betfair Part 1

I had entered into the Fanduel "offer" in good faith.

Unfortunately, through a set of circumstances beyond our control I was thrust into a whirlwind of aggravation and frustration

wasting hours upon hours of my time....and Fanduel's time as well.

Initiially, this was to be a "fun" experience but it has turned out to be nothing more than a time consuming nitemare.

Not only were the "Risk Free Credits" not placed into the account on a timely basis (per the Covenant) ... I literally had to present a case

to Fanduel/Betfair to rightfully claim what was mine initially.

Certainly, as one can commiserate.. this has left a rather foul taste as far as my experience with Fanduel.

I was inquiring if you would kindly reachout to Matt King, your CEO and see what adjustment can be made here...

I am thinking an additional $1000 in site credit would certainly show that Fanduel has some, "simpatico" for the

hoops they have put me through...making it a total of $2000 site credit vs the original $1000 ...which is far from unreasonable.

We both know the site credits are not full value but "Matchplays" or" Freeplays.". and are only worth 50% of face value

so theoretically I would be receiving an extra $500 from Fanduel for their gross error and the hassle they have caused me to endure.

This would go along way in restoring some confidence in your product and Brand and would certainly make Fanduel look

like they have made a concerted effort to remedy the unfortunate chain of events that transpired...rather than a hearty handshake.

    Response Part 2

To make a Personal Injury case of this would be costly and time consuming and after careful thought I am of the opinion we both have

more constructive options with the time on our calendars.

Thank you for your time and efforts and looking forward to Mr. King's spin on my more than reasonable settlement request

which would alleviate all Fanduel/Betfair obligations with XXXXXXXXX.... and any and all claims by XXXXXXXX would be quashed

Now you are writing some sports gambling soft-core porn? Is this the part where FanDuel "responds" and says "Oh yes Winkyyyy, please accept our sincerest apologies. Here is One thousand, no make that Two thousand dollars as we beg for forgiveness from such a humble and honorable man. You truly deserve better, and we are going to make it right for such a strong player such as yourself."

My only question is did you type with one hand while writing this crap? How many times did you have to stop and clean up with a wet tissue?

Hey Wink, let it go already.
I have read a lot of posts here in the past decade.
You’re the furthest thing from a Mensa candidate.

You handled this matter like a grade school eight year old who just lost his lunch money.

What you should have done from the get go was to notify Opt via the links here, file the complaint form and let Opt look into it.

I have no reason to suck up to Opt but trust me he’s damn good at what he does.
    He looks after us.

If and only if you were not satisfied with his findings than you should bring attention to the matter on the boards.

I can only speak for myself but I think if we had a dime for everybody crying “this book stole from me” we all would not have the need to work again.

This thread is not about me but I want to say this, I’ve been involved with fantasy sports years before FanDuel and DraftKings were even a thought, and I’ve been involved with FD since day 1, that would be 2009.

They have always been reputable, now some of you may not like the rake they take in some of the DFS contests and what not, but thieves they are not.

    Now carry on fella.

I posted this to help any SBR Players that take advantage of this "Risk Free" offer

The Sportsbook Bean Counters and "Think Tank" have deviously ..IMO...come up with this rather

Brilliant idea to circumvent the Risk Free Offer that virtually All the Online US Sportsbooks are now

offering.....as the rewards will be plentiful to acquire players to their site.

Well conceived.....and certainly premeditated as I have heard several others have been

    hoodwinked.

My suggestion if and when taking any Sportsbook up on this offer....

Be aware of what initial Bonus they apply in the account....as if u Max out the Risk Free

they will undoubtedly try the Ploy outlined in my posts...

If they "comingle" your Bonus Funds with your Cash Deposit they can say anything....

as far as where the origin of your first bet came from.....

But, In a Court of Law...the "meeting of the minds " is tantamount when reviewed by

a Judge making a declaratory Judgement....

In this specific case...it is rather obvious that the Participant was Opting for the $1000 Risk Free

wager....and to try to dismiss that would be frowned upon by the Court....insomuch as the

Sportsbook specifically reached out to potential players using the $1000 Risk Free as

an enticement to enter the Sportsbook...

As far as the Sportsbook is concerned.....they are "always right" ....and the Decision is 99% self serving

FOR the Book...with 1% to the player...usually even if they are wrong ...

SO I will post the updates and see what Fanduel comes up with..

    What do u think?

I think you watch too many Dick Wolf procedurals.

And what part of “let it go” don’t you get?

I for one will consider other “watchdogs” long before I consider your opinions or thoughts.

    Steve Nash....thanks for the opinions..but

have no idea who "opt" is...and I am sure he does a wonderful job....

but I enjoy the rhetoric and legal wrangling here with any book or company ...

while I may not be Perry Mason...I think I can hold my own dealing with Contract Law..

And...there is no CCHHAARRGGEEBBACCKK here"...only a dispute that will be reviewed by an impartial

    tribunal at Paypal..

They will look at the wording of the Contract and make an informed decision....whereupon..

    like Trump...if I win...I will accept....and if they rule against me....insomuch as I know I am

correct...I will move to the next skirmish with regards to this case.

Is this a multi Million Dollar case, obviously not..but I am calling out the book....and utilizing

my own time and efforts to have them deal with their players fairly...

Fanduel has had alot of Legal issues within the State of New York with regards to their "Bonus"

and Match Play offerings which were deemed as "Bait and Switch" by the NY Lawmakers years back....

    Public Record.

If these companies were turned loose without having to answer to anyone ( e.g. Offshore)

would you think that would be permissable...

Color me a Sportsbook "Patriot" storming the Capitol at Fanduel?

    I can’t take you seriously.
But I wish you no harm and wish you well and luck.

I’m not a contract attorney either, I’m just an I/T Operations Analyst nerd from way back.
I deal with data and numbers, not law, but I too know a thing or two.
I dislike lawyers, but I’ve learned enough from them to know to read the fine print on anything, and if I’m even 1 percent unclear on say item 12 in paragraph 3 I will ask questions so that I am clear.
And I will document said conversation as to who I spoke with and when.
Then and only then will one get my thousand dollars because in the long run it’s not how much you have but how much you keep.

When it’s all said and done and there is nothing left to say or do the business of business is business.

    Don’t ‘ya know?

Very Interesting ..... return phone call from Casino Control Commission

I had left my Ph # yesterday to discuss my Fanduel issue....and someone from

the Casino Control returned my call today....

Unfortunately, irt was a woman manning the switchboard and letting dissatisfied online players

with complaints how to file online....

Insomuch as I was in the midst of negotiation I did write all the info down....

and here is the kicker.....I asked her if she has had many calls with regard to Fanduel...

Here is a synopsis of her reply:

" Fanduel ?...Oh Dear...my switchboard has been lighting up like a Christmas Tree since

10 AM....and several people were yelling at me.......I have nothing to do with this....

I just field the calls and give out information....this is terrible....

What is going on?.......what are they doing as I really donot understand the online casinos..."

So....it seems my Marketing buddies at Fanduel are hard at "work"

They certainly are "servicing" the public.

Unfortunately...the service they are performing is ....

what a bull does to a heifer.
