Newbie question on a rollover from a Free Play

Im not a newbie and couldnt post in the newbie forum haha. So here is my newbie question on rollovers as I never take a bonus as I know its a scam.

That being said, Im a big client of a site and they made an error today. My VIP rep gave me a $500 freeplay. He said there was an 80X (crazy!) requirement.

That being said, I saw the rollover balance was $10k.

So do i need to wager $10k before I could withdrawal anything tied to it? Id think an 80X rollover on $500 would be a number way higher, so that threw me off.

Was going to shoot for a long shot parlay to win $10k, then do $500/$1k on these crazy sim games.

    Would that satisfy it?

Thanks, yall. BOL out there. Anyone doing those sims? Ive lost too many big bets which would have given me some of the best days of my life on the blocked punt TDs, scoop and score TDs, all of it. Always lose on that fluke play, but its not a fluke in a sim I guess.

Oh and the horrible clock management at the end. Down 4 on the 12 yard line with 42 secs to go with no timeouts and run it 3 times to not be able to set and get a FG.

Depends on the sportsbook. They try to cut down on tricks for meeting rollover and taking shots so they will not count parlays and props toward rollover sometimes or allow them with free plays. You have to read the rules for the bonus and rollover. Sims bets would count.

Better off to mention the book name or post a copy of the terms given as every book different.

80x rollover sounds like a Casino bonus and not a sport bonus.

$10,000 rollover on $500 sounds more like what I expect from a normal sports bonus.

You should not use one cent of this bonus until you work out the conditions though. Unles you are prepared to lose it first bet and then still not be allowed to withdraw before another $40,000 in turnover.

Many books only count the lower of Risk/Win too, so if you are a chalk bettor it can end up a lot more than 40k worth of bets.
