Is it common for books to do this? I guess I'm used to Heritage and 5dimes where if a line is posted you can parlay or tease it, but not so at BOL. I never knew this.

Edit: to clarify, this is only for football.

Considering how many posters say anyone who parlays is a square, it's weird how often use of them is restricted by books.

Was this a message on their site or did CS tell you about this or something else?

I wanted to do a square 2 team teaser using the Eagles Monday night and Ravens Thursday night and the option wasn't available. So I went to live chat and I was told that parlays and teasers for the next week's games aren't available until Wednesday. I just thought that was strange and wasn't sure if that's commonplace amongst other books.

    Thanks again!

They probably have the markets classed as futures until then I guess. Not wanting sharps to load up on openers using parlays to get higher limits.

But have not seen anyone else mention it before.

the lines for football are circled now for more days. they used to be circled only on sunday night and monday. i noticed the same thing with basketball. you can't do parlays or teasers in the morning cause they are circled too.

There could be some correlation issues.

A team winning the game monday night, means another team no longer can make the playoff and therefor the odds on that team winning its game the following week goes up.

I am not saying that is the reason. And your two picks were clearly not correlated. But late in a season some games can become correlated.

Yeah it probably matters more in other sports, especially soccer.

all BOL does for their lines is scrape 5Dimes. they are probably getting hammered and have no clue what to do. BOL isn't really what I'd call a sportsbook...

BOL does not get their lines from 5dimes. Also, 5Dimes is by no means a sharp book.

Do you even play there??? What rubbish.

In another thread I see you claiming BOL have limited you to peanuts too.

You would be among one of the very few they have done that to IF it's true...

This book sucks. It wont let you bet any parlays or teasers on the college bowl games. Anyone else been trying to place a bet and it wont let you?
