    MyBookie experience and WARNING!!

MyBookie has this rule listed on their site:

MyBookie is a recreational sportsbook and will only accept recreational action and/or players. We reserve the right to close an account and/or forfeit winnings whenever we have identified any behavior that is deemed ‘non-recreational’.

They have decided to steal $1250 from me claiming that I made steam plays.

I made 3 wagers for $500, $500, $250 in a 5 minute period one morning and according to their reasoning:

One play became a steam play on Donbest 15 minutes after I bet it.
The 2nd play I made became a steam play on Donbest 5 hours after I had bet it.
The 3rd play was not a steam play at all.

This is according to their head linesman and even though they were not steam plays when I bet them, 2 of the 3 became steam plays which means I am non-recreational. Huh?????

I explained that I cannot control what other people wager and the only way this can be avoided 100% of the time is if I bet 1 minute before games start.

I also explained that I had a long wager acceptance delay in my account from the start making it virtually impossible to bet steam plays even if I wanted to.

They deleted my wagers and did not reach out to me about the situation at all.

I only found out the next week when I logged into my account and saw this message:
Account blocked! Steam evidence-Canadian football. Please call in and ask for the lines manager. Steam plays are not allowed.

This is when I called and was told that all 3 of my plays that had won were deleted.

After probably over 1000 wagers, my last 3 I needed to complete my rollover get flagged as steam? Seriously?

At this point I contacted SBR and filed a complaint.

SBR tried on my behalf and agreed that the reason (steam) for confiscating my money was unacceptable but MyBookie did not budge.

At this point I withdrew the remainder of my money.

I was paid the other money but not the confiscated $1250.

Here are some other reasons not to play at MyBookie:
-They forced me to complete a 2nd rollover of $15,000 of full game straight bets only, after I had completed the original rollover because the majority of my plays were on props and 2h's.
-They told me that they would go back into my account and delete any wager I made that beat the closing line if I decided to make this public by posting about it on the forum.
-These 3 deleted wagers were the exact last wagers needed to complete the fictional 2nd rollover.

I was a pretty good winner at MyBookie and because of that and that alone I was treated horribly, had to jump through extra hoops before being paid and then eventually stolen from and threatened to have more stolen if I didn't keep my mouth shut.

SBR is obviously the best watchdog/mediator but it just goes to show that a book does not have to work with SBR or listen to SBR if they so choose.

I'm sure there will be some that defend MyBookie and say they always treated them right.

It's always works that way until one day it happens to you.

    You have been warned!

Any steam plays you lost in the last few years should be refunded as well. Give them a jingle.

I don't understand why people still play at shitty books when there's so many better ones out there that are proven and actually pay if you go on a run and not say you a PRO bettor thanks for your money its in are "rules".

I had nothing but problems there too. Nothing was ever confiscated from me but had similar issues.

SBR should readjust their rating to D-.

I was hesitant to start playing here after mixed reviews. They always text me 100% reloads so I usually put small amounts on $100-$200 because the rollover is small on those (5x). I haven't had any problems with them yet but normally the books that constantly send crap in mail, e-mail, text, etc are the ones you should worry about. I'll definitely think twice before depositing any more in the future. I still have a small balance with them at the moment. ~$400 or so.

They were known for doing similar stuff when they were BetonSports.com years ago, and they eventually ran off with millions in players funds. The same people operate this shop today, so to think they wouldn't pull the same shady tactics is ridiculous. SBR should have rated them an F book from the get go, based on their ownership alone.

Several other not as reputable "review" sites that grade sportsbooks have MyBookie as an A. I understand these are basically bought ratings but still. At least SBR is hesitant to give them a higher rating than a C.

Was considering a deposit there on the next set of transfers. After reading all of this, plan on avoiding. Anytime I consider anything under a B, something like this always gives me pause.

The best way is to keep posting about your experiences on SBR so if they don't change them no one will play there.

Can't blame them for sending back to the card on initial refund. That's 100% standard.

I don't think MyBookie is a scam book but they probably aren't a book you want to be heavily invested in. Their lines are nothing special either.

Right, but they should state that on their site since it's kind of important. Especially if you're expecting a bitcoin payout vs. waiting 2-3 weeks for the money to hit your card.

Any book deleting player's wagers or even threatening to do so, is a dead end. This just smells of outright scam.

At the time of my deposit I didn't see any slow pays or no pays or thefts or unfair stuff on the forums.

There wasn't much of anything to dissuade me at the time.

That was a while ago when I deposited.

I figured out what they were about pretty quickly but had a big rollover which then became a 2nd rollover which then led to this in the end.

I am reluctant to take another bonus offshore again so I can get out immediately if I things start going sour if I actually win.

FWIW I’ve played here off and on the past couple years and been paid hassle free. Just submitted my first bitcoin withdraw today. The two day processing review is weird, but if that’s all I have to wait I’m good with that. There are better books, but I seem to get lucky with these guys

I'm not gonna be the guy to suggest them because they send shit in the mail, make phone calls, lots of emails, text messages etc. I've kept my balance low and if you deposit less than $300 their reload bonuses are only 5x rollover. If you do choose to play here just keep the balance low because they aren't a top tier choice by any stretch.

Steam bet? Isn't that where a big line move happens before a game and you go with it? That doesn't mean it is going to win. And so what. You are not allowed to use your brain to figure things out when you bet. Are you suppose to flip a coin? These books put all these rules in there to steal your money with insane rules and and then say it is in the rules. Only a scam book does stuff like this

I stopped playing at MyBookie. Their fine print rules are just not ok. Anyone who has a had a good experience with MyBookie is necessarily in a negative position.

    Steam bet?

If I placed a large steam bet on Texas and they shit the bed, would that considered a Texas Steamer?
