Hello, i played yesterday at circus.be i registered and deposit 8k in my account. I made 2 bets and AFTER the games were over, the betslip said "return" and the calculate it with odd 1.0 wich means money back in my account.
The problem is, I won 1 of my 2 bets and this brings me +20k!
How can a bookie VOID a bet AFTER the game is over??? I can show all provements, that the bet has been accepted etc.
I surely contacted them and they were telling me, they will contact their betting department and will get back to me, but i dont think, this will change anything. Also my stake limits are at 0,00 Euro now! Well i could live with it,that they restrict me to 0 euro, but i can't live with that they keep my winnings!

So belgium gaming commission is a joke and i know they will not help. Forums are full of it, like MGA,nothing will happen.

So what should i do now??? File a complain here? @Optional?

It's Betconstruct that voids the bets, not Circus. They are not a scam at all and pay...they just won't pay wrong odds or palps. Can you share a screenshot of the bet? The fact they instantly limited you to 0 means you bet on a palp.

You can try to file a complaint, but I'm sorry to say the chances of you getting any of those winnings is pretty close to 0.

The odds were standart and average. I mean, they VOID both bets.

But how can betconstruct void it after the game?? I didn't breach any T&C so how can this be???

I can see a few things that could have been the problem.

First: I'm presuming you are German because of the word "suchen" in your browser search bar. Considering it's fairly rare for a non-Belgian to use Circus.be that could indicate your account was carefully scrutinized and they may have found some indications of multi accounting. Not saying you have multiple accounts there, but you have to admit it seems rather odd for someone to register at a Belgian site as a foreigner to immediately deposit 8k (probably through Neteller or Skrill), only to instantly bet it all (in rather weird betsizes) on those games. On top of that, I believe the odds at that exact time were small arbs with Betfair if I look at the odds movements. You bet them right after a drop at Pinnacle. This gives the impression you could be an arber that did not register there for the first time. They may have found some evidence.

2. and not sure about this, but could it have been a technical error on their part? I believe their "to win" limits are usually 10k max so your bet on Hannover is clearly over that bet limit. I could be wrong about this.

3. What is your timezone? Is it possible at all you bet these a few minutes after the start of the game?

Hi Soni, you are welcome to submit a complain form and see what SBR can do.

From previous experience it was probably Betconstruct who declined the account due to notes about you from their other books.

I had quite a few cases where I bet the same game at different books of BetConstruct and some of them voided the bet and others didn't. So it's not necessarily BetConstruct voiding bets. The book makes the final decision.

Besides, Circus.be used to be a popular book in the German betting forum Wettforum.info. Circus is promoted on international betting sites so I'm not sure why you think only Belgians play there.

1. Yes , i am german. I never made any multi accounts there. Even if it was arbitage, this is no reason to void my bet at all.
2. There is no tech. Error displayed, i had the option to choose max bet and so i did.
3. I placed the bets around 1 hour before the game starts.

Used a different PC. The error appeared with win 7, chrome (newest version) and then i changed to win 10 chrome and worked

My experience has been different, I actually had some Betconstruct sites void a bet and then after contacting support and arguing a bit I got the decision reversed (Starcasino being one of them).

Not saying circus doesn't have foreign clients, just saying foreign clients with large deposits will be scrutinized more because they are, proportionally, more likely to be winners (taking arbs and stale lines etc) if you know what I mean.

Have you ever seen any commission helping the players? Just tell me 1 case only 1 would be enough... I do betting since years and i never seen any complain solved by any gaming commission. Check out their facebook page, a lot of rude comments that they are NOT helping and simply do not care. I mean, i will contact them once i got an answer from circus, but i don't think they will help.

Your experience really reminds me mine, that I had with WilliamHill, 5 ot 6 years ago. On paper it is a solid bookie, yet it happened exactly like you. I made a deposit of 2000 EUR and bet all of it on one bet, nothing fishy at all on the bet (a tennis match at a big tournament). Decent odds (still remember it was around 1.60), won the bet (2000 * 1.60). They voided and never paid.

My mistake was that I did not verify my account before making my first deposit. They refunded my deposit and never verified my account (I even sent a certified copy of my passport by mail to Gibraltar). Even the top rated bookies can behave bad.

Not really, no. I had many issues with licensors myself and never got a substantial support.

Your post just sounded like you made a specific negativ experience with the Belgian Commission. I had a case with Circus two years ago and never received a reply from the Belgian Gaming Commission. Eventually I decided to sue Circus which turned out to be a big mistake, at least in financial terms. Case is still open.

If this is arbitrage bets. Do NOT TELL them. That could be a reason for them to void. I hope you bet value bet or at least tell them you only bet on value bets. That is the right thing to do.
