Is it ok to use your sportsbook while on vacation?

I'm on vacation in Colombia but still want to keep making bets. I've heard from some others that they've had issues with their accounts when they logged into their book while in a different country. Will a major book, something like BOL have a problem if you log in with an IP in a different country than the one that always usually logs in?

Most people are smart enough to let them know they are traveling in advance of leaving the country so there won't be an issue.

For international travel, I leave a laptop running at home with Teamviewer.com running on it.

Then I can log in and use sportsbooks as if i am at home.

Can login from phone if needed.

Send an email to BOL and ask them if it matters might be easier. I doubt they will for Columbia.

Pinnacle once block my account for log in internacional, it was a security messure, all was settled in a few emails, most bookies won't care.

I went on a Caribbean cruise last year and used the ship's internet service. I called Boomaker prior to leaving and they said no problem with betting but I might have issues with deposits and payouts. Did both (via bitcoin) without issue. I didn't even bother telling the other books and had zero issues with any of them. I'll be going to Colombia, Panama and the Bahamas in January. Doesn't hurt to let them know I suppose..

LOL I did exactly what Optional told me to do and I let them know beforehand that I was going to Colombia. I thought everything was fine and I tried to make a payout request yesterday. It had been a few days and the request was not processed so I contacted them to check what was going on only to find that they cancelled my payout request. They didn't send me any message or notification whatsoever of the cancellation. The reason they gave me was that I went to Colombia and used a Colombian IP address despite the fact that I already messaged them ahead of time. They then advised me that I had to make the payout request again, while notifying in the little message box that I previously sent them an email about travelling!

What a joke BOL has become. Completely absurd.

Oh well, it's good they noticed and did the security thing I guess.

Maybe the payment gets rejected for wrong location without anyone reviewing the account notes.

Hopefully it's smooth the second time.
