    Betonline

Hello. I'm interested in opening an account at Betonline. I have few questions:

-How big are the average limits per bet?
-Do they limit pro bettors (for example those that bet on good odds only), and if they do, how low are those limits?
-Is their welcome bonus risky? If I take a bigger bonus, to I have to be afraid they could take it from me (winnings included) before I fulfill the rollover requirements? Or limit me so I will never fulfill those requirements (as some bookies do, they limit you to $1 for example, so you cannot accomplish your bonus rollover).

In short, are they risky or 100% safe?

    Thank you for your answers.

Solid bookie but quite sharp. They are fast to follow Pin lines. My limits on some of their non main stream lines are as low as 10 $.

    Hi MarBen,

    Thanks for your question.

BetOnline actually has reasonably large limits - $25,000 for NFL sides Thurs-Sun, $15K for NCAAF, with $10,000 for NBA, MLB etc. You can see all limits in the BetOnline full review.

The book does accept professional ("sharp") action and limit accordingly but not anymore than most shops. Keep us posted on if you decide to give them a shot.

SBR Forum, can you address your view on why Betonline charges a fee for both Bitcoin deposits and withdrawals? I'm curious what your opinion is.

I have gotten over 100 bonuses from betonline, they have never taken one of them from me.
you get 25 % reload bonus everytime, even if u have won 10000 dollar, only wait 30 days.

25 % reloadbonus with 2% fee to withdraw, is better than 0% reloadbonus, with 0% fee to withdraw in my eyes........

Actually 6.5% fee of your total deposit. 2% fee to withdrawal. How much do you think Betonline pays to receive and send Bitcoin?

25% freeplay in every qualifyed deposit,

How much does most of other books pays to recive and send bitcoin close to 0%

How much extra staff do a bookmaker that has bitcoin need, how many questions does a "new" payment method gets, how many people are lazy and ask CS in stead of google bitcoin them self, how much does this cost the bookmaker in staff expenses, i guess ALOT extra

Is it really so strange that some bookmakers charge for bitcoin in the start, to cover a lot extra cs staff, and extra staff to do bitcoin security
If bookmakers doesent have VERY high bitcoin security, all their bitcoin can be stolen
My point open your eyes think the big picture

If u really want to get into the full aspect of the Betonline Bitcoin rape fees it's not just the 6.5% deposit fee they take out they also don't give u enough for what bitcoins r worth last week I checked and they would give u $10 less than what average bitcoins were worth plus 6.5% deposit fee. Stupid if u ask me.

It's an unconventional setup but remember that fiat sportsbooks are still a bit green with bitcoin for various reasons. We know management is aware of player feedback on the fees and discussing internally.

This is one of your A+ rated books doing this. Don't you think this really should be looked into because the deposits fees are just robbery. Feel free to look for yourself. If you deposit $1000 they take $65 from the 6.5% fee and if they give you $10 less per Bitcoin from what they r worth then that's an added $20 more. So $85 just to deposit $1000 into this place which should be free. I can't even deposit with this method because of it.

Sure that is betonline is trying to rob you? or have you tryed to google "Bitcoin value" and seen that the value is not the same almost anywhere, right now bitstamp has 570,27 and coindesk has 574.92 Maybe its not soooooo stupid.....maybe its just you using a different website for bitcoinvalue than betonline....

I like this book other than the 6.5% Bitcoin deposit fee

took my lazy ass down to walmart and sent M*G and they picked up the fees...refuse to pay that % on principle

They pick up Bitcoin payout fees up to $50 on Fridays I think it is

Cause I love coming into the forums and saying stuff about one of my favorite books. Also cause I haven't been using bitcoins for years now and don't know where or how to look up the value of what the coins that I bought are worth either. Betonline is the only SBR A rated book that tries to pull this stuff with Bitcoins. You go pay 6.5% fees plus whatever extra they want on top of that and you know they pocket that money somehow, this is an A+ book trying to do this to customers. It looks as of today there is only a $2 per bitcoin difference less than what Bitcoins should be worth at time of deposit and not $10 like last week, but thats still $4 on top of 6.5% you give to Betonline before you place a bet.
Even SBR just commented that management knows what they are doing.

you dont take the 25 % bonus ?

if you do, do you consider the 25% freeplay at least like 12% cash bonus ?

if u bet underdogs with it, it gives you even more value , so i consider it as 12-20 %cash bonus.

So then they take 6 %in fee and and give cash 12 + % relaod bonus.....

And if u deposit with p2p, i heard they dont take any fee over 300.....

Not all books suit all people Legions. Just because you don't like their terms does not mean they should not be rated A.

Many people do like playing there and think their end result is just fine with this fee and other bonuses.

I agree with what JJ said. A very solid book. And well worthy of an A rating for many reasons, including the high satisfaction level of their regular players.

Yes I take bonuses and I can't come up with a good reason to deposit with bitcoins and lose that much in fees. 12% cash is nothing to brag about. Shoot at least with cc you can get points back for a deposit but I still don't like losing 6.5%. Then u have to complete a rollover and a 30 day hold on your money. 6.5% deposit fee for Bitcoins is such a joke.

    This is incorrect.

Coindesk shows the live price right now as $572 and Betonline are asking me to send 1.00279154 BTC for a $575 deposit.

Whatever 'price' you are using is just out of kilter with the market and confusing you.

Not once did I say anything other than what u just said. They r a good book and all that stuff but to do what they do with Bitcoins is shady in a way. They can't even justify a reason for this 6.5% fee, cc is understandable but Bitcoins is bogus. Your fellows at SBR even said they know they r wrong and still nothing is being done yet. Unless I'm desperate to make a deposit for this fee that's the only way I will consider it, they have to give out at least 50% in bonuses to go that route.

Well apart from you railing on about them being shady and posting the misinformation about not receiving a proper exchange rate.

If you can't see how their terms can work for you, that's fine. But you are going on like one of the lunatics with this bullshit about them cheating you on deposit rates and somehow not deserving an A simply because they don't suit you. Maybe they designed it just that way on purpose so people like you won't play there. ;-)

Not sure why the screenshot isn't posting but i have it if someone can show me how to add it. How come when you get proven wrong you choose to switch up and go the "well maybe you don't play there". I don't even know why I bother with you because you think that this is fine for a book to do. And yes I will continue to as you say rail them until they fix this because it's is not in order.

Yes I do think it's fine for a book to do.

And so does all their regular players.

You're probably right that there is a reason like they want to push players into the bonus and 30 day withdraw hold, but as much as that might annoy you personally, it's not shady or trying to get away with anything. Just a business strategy decision.

As far as "proving me wrong" about the exchange rate. Please don't keep trying to push this line. You are mistaken.

Anyone with an account can go to the deposit page, check the current live price at http://www.coindesk.com/price/, input that price in for a deposit and see that they ask for very close to 1 bitcoin.

But even against Coindesk price you can't say either is right or wrong exactly as it changes second to second.

Which players think this is fine because I have read numerous threads on complaints about this same issue? And Coindesk has the average of all the places so its pretty accurate. And if you can show me how to add my screenshot then I can have you take away that silly infraction I got for absolutely nothing other than trying to prove my point.
