    Pinny 5x Rollover WTF?

Since when did pinnacle require you to roll over your deposit 5x before withdrawing?

I made a deposit to bet the Superbowl. Won. Now I want to withdraw and they tell me about this ridiculous rollover. (I received no bonus on my deposit)

Had they told me about the rollover requirement before depositing I would have deposited elsewhere.

Now they say i must pay them 3% of the withdrawal as a processing fee or complete the 5x rollover.

Is there anything I can do?

It came in in April 2014.

I believe the 3% is charged on the deposit amount only, not the total withdrawal amount.

Yup, I stopped playing there because of that. I believe Optional is right, they charge you 3% on deposit

Nothing you can do. I don't deposit there anymore because of that rule. Not to mention their specifics on what consistutes towards RO and what happens if you bust the amount (i.e. no more RO or does it carryover to the next deposit) aren't indicated anywhere that I could find. With such ambiguities I just use another low juice shop.

There have been prior threads on this subject.
It was introduced without any prior notification to customers.
Those caught out in the first weeks by it were I believe exempted from the fees on withdrawal.
I'm the same as those who have said they won't deposit any more funds there whilst this absurdity continues.

I don't understand the relevance of this question.

The effect of the fees are relative to the amount your deposit.

I don't see why people have such a problem with this.. 1K deposit 3% is $30. If you don't like it go bet with bet islands ??

The problem I have with it is that it is unique in my experience. I don't pay fees anywhere else for deposits or withdrawals. Everywhere else requires one only to bet whatever they deposit. And if you refer to prior threads on the subject there is at least one horrible example of how Pinnacle applies their rule.
Pinnacle is good but I can almost always get as good or better odds elsewhere so I don't need to put up with this. But I'm not a whale and don't need Pinnacle's huge limits for my betting.

seems like every sportsbook is in your pocket more and more. not understanding why you should care is having no sense of money management. making it much more difficult to win. pay attention to the pennies and you will end up with more dollars.

Thanks for the replies. Didn't realize they've had this policy since last April. Guess I must have always met the rollover previously. As others have stated it's reason enough for me to take my business somewhere else in future.

They certainly did a piss poor job of notifying their clients, lots of people have not realized this requirement until very recently.

    That's for sure.
And the Super Bowl is sure to have attracted lots of new deposits for a hit and run.
I bet they are fielding a heap of complaints as a result.

I was actually one of the first people to notice this but i never posted it because i didn't consider it a big deal for me. I know that for people who wants to bet 1-2 times and then cashout, this is pretty annoying.

The big issue though with pinnacle is the unnecessary deposit rule they had. I say this is worst than the 5x rollover. If any of you are familiar with this, you would say its not really right and makes zero sense as no other book follows this rule. Basically it would be impossible to rollover unless you bust your entire account. Im sure even books that aren't A books don't have this unnecessary deposit rule. It does make sense from their processing costs but if you going to rollover many times over it, I say they shouldn't have this rule.

Also since pinnacle is low juice book, they would be one of the books that i expect this from.
