Heritage bitcoin deposits - thank you ..

    Long story short.......

I committed a cardinal sin regarding BITCOINS. 2 nights ago off the late night I decide to play a little Casino at Heritage and decide to send 2 btc. I send and once it hits my account I bet into a live line so meanwhile I have no funds to play the Casino as I wanted to. So I decide to send another 2 btc deposit into Heritage. And when I do...... I forget to generate a NEW btc deposit address for my depo. I then commit the error to send the 2 btc to the same address I had done so previously. I noticed it didnt hit my acct. Thats when I realized I had used the same address twice. I contact heritage later on in the afternoon to speak with ALFONSO who was very helpful in this matter. When I asked him usually what happens when someone sends to the same address he replies to me that "this situation doesnt happen often" and expressed that he hasnt seen a situation quite like mine.. But told me to wait out an additional 24 hours to see if the funds would hit.. They did.... but only AFTER I made the call. So to those out there wondering why you should use a new address everytime there you have it... Heritage had to talk to the btc provider to see if they had the funds and they did. I had the 2btc in my acct within 2 hours of the call. A big thanks to heritage sports and the CLERK ALFONSO for the great help. I figured my 2btc were lost and gone in cyberspace.

There is no way the coins would be lost in cyberspace. When you send to an address, it goes to that address. Whoever controlled the address when you first sent would also receive any other time you sent to that address. If they want you to generate a new address each time, it is for their own internal reasons. So definitely do what they tell you and generate a new address. But as a technical matter, whoever controls a given address will receive the coins no matter how many times you send to that address. So it was a no brainer that the btc provider had received it. Again, that doesn't mean HS will credit it to your account if they tell you they want it done differently. But it does mean that the coins cannot be lost in cyberspace when you use the same address. The same entity who received from the first sending would definitely get the second shipment as well.

With the pure bitcoin books you deposit to the same address. At Nitrogen you have the ability to change the address up to 5 times a day if you want that for some reason.

The books dabbling in bitcoins are well behind the pure bitcoin books. Deposit issues should be minimum and hit your account almost immediately.

What does that have to do with anything? Why in the world would they lose the private keys? It's like saying that if your cash burns in a fire, you can't use it. Yes, true, but... huh?
