I'm going to try to keep this short as possible. I recently opened up an account on Bodog and attempted to deposit funds using Interac e-Transfer. About 3 hours after the deposit request I got a confirmation email from my bank, stating that the transaction was accepted. Just after that email I received an email from Bodog stating that my request was denied because there was an error in the transaction description. They recommended to cancel this transaction and redo the request. When I went onto my online banking, the transaction itself was debited from my account and the transaction itself appears in the Completed Transaction section and not the Pending Transaction section. After a lot of back and forth Bodog does not know where my money is and is still telling me to cancel this transaction from my end. I've already contacted my bank and even contacted Interac and there's nothing they can do to help me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
