    Odds vary, no way to answer that. But more then likely the payout will be very similar. Maybe a slight edge to 5 dimes if you NEED an answer

    how much is a taxi ride to the casinos from the air port?
    how do i check before i get way out there and find they don't have a line for my play

    do I have to call the casino or just see the line posted on vegas insider
    also whats some snags i'll run into like above question to be aware of before i get to las vegas

    Taxi to mid strip is about $15+tip, downtown is $22+tip, give or take for traffic, etc........

    If you're worried enough to be asking the $ for a taxi there is no way any bet you make will be taken with any hesitation. If $ wasn't an issue you'd be renting a nice car and spend some time cruising the street after a big win.

    I have never had to pay taxes on winnings. I only do future bets in Vegas. I won $20,000 on a futures bet at The Riviera and $20,000 again on a futures bet at Charlie's. My first win was on The Colorado Rockies winning the pennant. It netted me $20,000 @ The Riviera. They never asked for my ID and handed me $20,000 in cash. I was surprised that no ID was required. Then the following year I win $20,000 on Tampa winning the pennant at Charlie's. They asked for my ID and SS #. But they never gave me a 1099 form to fill out. So I never had to report it. They gave me a check. They seem to just ask for ID for large wins, but don't do anything with the information and you never have to pay taxes unless you sign a 1099 form. I didn't have to fill out any form either time I won.

    I've had no luck though betting in futures in the last 4 years! I did win $5000 in keno once and they did have me sign a form and I did have to report the taxes on that one, but I think, sports bets don't require the forms since so many people win sports bets and it would create too much clerical work for the casino that they would have to hire a whole new staff just for the paperwork related to sports betting.
