Legal battle stands in way of Atlantic City sportsbooks
New Jersey residents are going to have to wait a little longer for sportsbooks in Atlantic City. District Judge Michael Shipp rejected the argument that the major sports leagues and NCAA would be unable to prove financial damages if New Jersey were to proceed with allowing sportsbooks to operate in Atlantic City.
