Ryan also was saying yesterday that Jon was going to pay everyone. SBR is claiming that Jon is no longer with the company. So which Jon was Ryan speaking with? Last week things looked bad and everyone including SBR sounded like they waited for the magical Monday to come and see what happened. When BetIslands didn't come through we saw them lower from "B" to "C" late last night.

Today SBR says BetIslands is toast.

I'm sure SBR was making money on BI and didn't want them to fail. BI was still not rated A+ and everyone knew they had only been around a year or so. If there is a better watchdog for sportsbooks out there, then send me the link, because I haven't seen one that is even close.

The real deal behind that book is Jon essentially doesn't exist. Jon formerly used the name Nick and managed two different shops SBR has rated D-. He then became Jon when moving to WagerChief brand and SBR helped build him up. When he lost that position he continued the sell and took over BetIslands.

SBR pulled a stunt. BetIslands was rated D with other Jazz sites. With it being an unknown tiny book, they just deleted all reference of it for a few months. Then they initiated them at C- on March 22, 2011. The forum shills started with a bad group but Jon is the man and kept repeating it.

It took less than 8 months to go from C- to B.

The phone and internet bill are already paid. It doesn't cost them much in wages to have someone accept deposits from some unwary soul who doesn't know what's up. Hell, people were using fake names and checking on depositing this morning! "Business as usual."

the problem is that it's very common on the forums for people who are disgruntled to come on and claim people/books are corrupt for their own personal reasons. so people hear it so much that they don't believe it when it's actually true.

if we went off of every negative thread we would literally not have a book in existence that isn't corrupt. everyday it's "5Dimes sucks, Tony is corrupt, Heritage sucks, Bookmaker is going under, etc etc etc."
