Would you put $10k at WSEX for a 20% bonus?

2 years ago, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I got the offer tonight. I don't need the money and won't need it anytime soon, but don't want it locked up forever. I can take payouts via check or wire as I pay taxes.

Would you put the money there?

100% YES, meet the rollover and your money can be at Matchbook in an hour, then get your withdrawal.

    My answer is 100% NO.

They have a maximum transfer amount of $2,500 to Matchbook right now (was $5K 10 short days ago), and they charge $50 per pop. You can only make one transfer per seven days. As of right now, you'd be looking at $200 in fees and a whole month just to get $10K to Matchbook.

    In summary:

    1. $60K rollover requirement. I don't mind gambling, but their lines are generally horrible when compared to Matchbook, 5Dimes, etc., and their live and futures markets don't count towards the rollover.

    2. They are slow paying people now, and keep changing their withdrawal rules (for the worse). Who knows what their withdrawal rules will look like 6 months from now?

Something reeks here and I wouldn't want to take the risk of depositing $10K with these guys.

Just wanted to say I totally agree with this sentiment.

This used to be a great place to bet, but they've really gone downhill recently. It seems like they are struggling big time.

I have a sunstantial amount on WSEX and I have been trying to get a larger portion of it for over 6 weeks now. The place is a joke.

"Maximum Bank Draft amount is $5,000 daily. Regular mail may take up to 20 business days for delivery. Courier mail may require 7 business days." That is off their cashier page, they are still telling people that checks may take UP TO 20 days! Yesterday I was told by one of their customer service reps that checks may take up to 2 months to receive. Over the last 2 years I have heard every excuse in the book from this site, lost checks (more than once), processing issues, etc.

No worries they are still a B book, so why is not everyone depositing there?

First off, I would like to say that I believe they have no business still being a B rated book. Just take a look at the posts in this forum, and the recent player reviews that WSEX has recieved.

They are quite obviously struggling. Why else would they be slow paying, lowering withdrawal maximums and raising withdrawal fees?

My advice is to pay attention to the trend.

In February they were rated A+
In March they were rated A-
In April they were rated B+
In May they were rated B

Watch that next step, because it's a doozey...

I would, assuming you're not gonna take forever to roll it over. After that, I'd eat the $50 and ship most/all of the balance to matchbook/book of your choice.

NOTE: This is also assuming that 10K doesn't represent a massive portion of your bankroll.

I guess you haven't read all of the replies, but there is now a $2,500 max on interbook transfers from WSEX. That means he could not just eat a single $50 charge and immediately ship out his balance. You can only do one transfer per week, and it is $50 a pop.

If he had $11K in his account after fulfilling the rollover, it would take 5 weeks and $250 to transfer that money to another sportsbook. Of course, the maximum transfer amount has continuously dropped over the last several weeks, so whose to say that $2,500 transfers will be allowed at that time? At this point, their desperation is palpable, so I wouldn't assume that things will stay the same or get better. Just last week they allowed $5K transfers.

Also, how do you clear a $60K rollover requirement quickly at a book with relatively low limits? Maybe during NFL season it is possible, or if you bet a ton of baseball games. For most sports, they tend to have low limits though. Their live and futures markets do not count towards the rollover requirement.

Every business has inventory shrinkage and if $10K is not a problem to lose then yes, go ahead. However, if losing $10K would be a big deal then I would not. WSEX has been getting hit with complaint after complaint and there are just too many issues... Now, I too, plan to drop around that much with them in the future, like a couple of years from now, but they are near the bottom of my list due to all the issues... Use extreme caution because thing seem to be deteriorating for them... So, to answer your question, I would not at this time...

    BOL..

I would. Simply put, they're still in business.

They had to fight Washington, not just the online bookmakers, but WSEX themselves had to fight Washington for the past two years.

The new administration will eventually (I think) turn down the heat - and in the meantime if WSEX, as it's repeated here a bit, has never stiffed a customer - wouldn't that make them a book to trust?

I have nothing but good feelings for WSEX and a long history, but I do feel for the people waiting for their money. Just hope the issues get worked out.

I completely trust WSEX management's intent to pay. But I no longer trust their ability to do so.

Definitely Not. These jokers said I was eligible for a nice 20% bonus as well and after I had the money ready to send ** they changed the story and said I wasn't going to get the bonus. I'd be careful with WSEX as they are not the book they used to be and customer service doesn't seem to know their ass from a hole in wall.

A max interbook transfer of $2,500 has nothing to do with "processing issues". It has to do with liquidity issues. They are obviously struggling big time.

I agree with you that WSEX was once a great place to bet, but I have no idea why you are willfully ignoring the current situation.
