    BetIslands having problems again?

    Never received info for P2P cashout requested this morning. Tried to find out status before they close at 10:45 and neither live chat or either phone number is working....

    P2P often takes more than a day... get in touch with them tomorrow.

    took 2 hours to get in on live chat earlier today...finally called and got "Bob"....found out "Bob" was quite the comedian.......seen their live chat was shut down about 3 hours ago as well.....not sure what they're trying to pull.......when I finally got "Bob" on the phone I said "did you guys quit answering live chat or what, man" he goes "what live chat".....don't like to get jerked around by books.

    Wow, I don't have an account with BetIslands, but realistically they are not going to be able to guarantee that, so they should not advertise. Things like this should scare people away fast.

    My point, that's just not going to happen. It reminds me of those emails people get offering insane bonuses from no name books, hopefully we all know what to do with those.

I had been trying to get on live chat since 8:00 with no response. I called the wagering number and someone did answer there, so I asked about the status of my cash out and some woman started giving me numbers for second half action. I said "Thanks, but the second half has already started! I was trying to find out the status of a P2P cashout I requested this morning." She started telling me how much I have available in my account. I said no shit that's how much I have, I'm asking about my cash out. It went on for a while and I spoke to a "manager" who gave me the same line that customer service was closed and I have to call back in the morning.....

    I expect I'll get paid, but not like advertised. And, it's flat scary how clueless the people I spoke to tonight are.

    I think you will get paid also, but get all your money out of there. When there are plenty of good books who won't put you through this shit, why play there? Clearly they do not live up to the promise which is there main promotion apparently.

    Yeah, but I've never been stiffed by a B rated book. But I find their customer service to have a similar attitude as the fat ghetto cashier at my local Burger King. This is not my first facepalm incident with them. However, the main thing is getting paid. If I get my P2P tomorrow all will be fine and I'll just know not to really expect it the same day next time. FWIW I have made 3 deposits in the 1K range over the last year and this is my first cashout requested.

    Yeah I'm sorry you did not get paid today but at least I'm not alone. It's all cool long as I get paid. Just kind of odd to see same day payouts advertised, customer service open til 10:45, etc. and none of it happening on my first cash out request. Then, some woman who clearly had no idea what I was even asking about, reciting second half lines on a half that already started. It does not inspire comfort.

    However, given their rating and lack of documented stiffs, I'm only mildly concerned. Without this site as a resource, I'd be kinda freaking out I think. Thanks to SBR for that.

    Sam this is so very especially true on a Monday--I even wager horses there-even with the flaws--it is OK if you do not play exotics-nice 3% rebate-7% rebate at Legends--however I like Bet Islands for more reasons than other shops. Still prefer Nevada over anything-tickets in hand - excitement and moving lines. gl all-

    I know positively nothing--but I would say it is better to think there were a large number of requests- and only a certain amount can be handled per day---probably wrong-and wrong to assume. So those who did not get processed today will be handled the first thing in the AM. gl guys

    This is how it is in this business- BI--like every book in Nevada probably had a ton of World Series futures to grade and/or payout-plus Sundays games. Most books would have to get a fill from the main cage several times. Of course that was then- and people sometimes would have to wait/or get a cash transfer from a writer. Just to let guys how the hassle is at times--usually a good sportsbook manager would be prepared in advance/or take the day off. lol

    Don't think anyone is worried about that just yet. But, their phone lines were down (not even ringing) and live chat not working. Customer service closed way before the time stated on the website and people not getting the same day payouts they advertise. Not unreasonable to suspect something is amiss under these circumstances.

    Agree it's not a big deal yet. Certainly hope not. Just conjures flashbacks of broken promises that most people on this board have experienced at some point. Any time a book has not paid in the promised time frame can't help but get a little concerned. An e-mail heads up on the situation would have been nice also. It will be posted on this thread when the funds are in hand.
